(no subject)
I went on a ride-along yesterday. Nine hours in an ambulance. It was pretty fun. We got four calls, thankfully nothing life-threatening. We almost had to respond to a fire (in which case I would have stayed in the truck), but we got called off because it was just burned food and the firefighters took care of it.
All I really got to do was take blood pressure and administer oxygen. The paramedic I was riding with was impressed that all my BP readings were pretty accurate. *is proud myself* The EMTs were really nice and pretty funny. The EMT-B bought me a slushy. =D
I think I can see myself doing this for a while. It's a little nerve-wracking, though...
