Maybe I was a little premature posting that pic of my painting. Here it is, finished:
Today was a good day. Went to TJ Maxx and found a great retro clock for the kitchen, and four different Martha Stewart Christmas books for $3.99 each. Then I went to JoAnn's to price painting supplies and found a really great deal on stuff to get me started. After that I went to Marshall's and bought stuff, though I don;t remember what besides a new bra and undie set. Went to Target after that and stocked up on gossip magazines, sleeping pills and face washing stuff. I also went to Kroger and bought groceries, came home and made linguine with shrimp scampi and a salad for dinner. Then I painted a picture. I haven't picked up a paintbrush in 11 years or more, but I was feeling inspired and I am happy with the results. It's been a productive day.
