First time for everything.
Wow. There's no way it's the 27th. That's just crazy. So, I am liking the idea that no one knows I'm here (at LJ that is). Well, one person does, but she has total access to my thoughts and feelings anyways, so there's no worries.
I had my first day at good ol Target today. It went well. I like my manager so far. I haven't met any coworkers yet, but from the sound of it most of them are getting fired any ways, so I don't give a rats ass. Aparently the people who have been working there have been total jerks to Target and customers alike. That pisses me off, A LOT. People don't fucking think passed themselves sometimes. They don't realize the affect they have on everything around them. Target has gotten a bad name, Kodak has gotten a bad name, and now I am starting off with a bad name because of some idiot asshole who has treated everything like crap. And my poor manager (he just started this week also) is pretty disgruntled already. But, never fear, the two of us are here, and we care a lot about our reputation (meaning ours individually and the stores as a whole) and we are out to save the day. I think we can pull it off. So yeah, first day of work was good. It's nice to be around people again. And it was a really slow day, so that's cool. I can't wait to get my target ID number so I can buy some of the cute scarves I saw.
Oh, and tomorrow, I go get birth control. Cuz I'm gonna have sex!!! I'm gonna be married. In 99 days and some odd hours. Heck yes.
