Pops is annoying me... and has been all day
but anyway, here's my weekend
Saturday went to Saginaw late at night, best ride ever. Lots of fun. So we waited in line at Taco Bell for a while, 'cause there was a line so we figured it must be open... but nope. It was closed. And when we left, there was still a line. The lights were on, the chairs were down, but there was no one home. Stopped by Flint, got to Saginaw 'bout 1am, stayed up 'til 4 wrapping presents with my brother in law while my sister cooked our non-traditional Christmas dinner of Lasagna ('twas really good, too), played a little Prince of Persia then slept for a few hours until...
Sunday, woke up to excited screaming jumping on the couch (that I was sleeping on) kids who weren't allowed to open their presents until 11:00. They did, they were excited. I opened my two gifts (a robe, socks, and a remote control car), which was... two gifts more than I expected. They were all excited, the house stayed relatively clean. They got DDR Extreme 2, which was really a gift for the adults (shh), which was played all day. And they got a cube with Catwoman (boo). I donated Mario Sunshine, Mario Party 7, and Pikmin, two controllers, and a memory card for only 50 bucks. Ended up spending a lot of time at my moms while my sister burned DVD's, saw crash and learned to play "At the River" on Keyboard. (so soothing). Got back, stayed up all night with DDR, when all others went to bed I watched a little "late night tv" (ahh, digital cable), and then bed for me. Oh, the ex called, happened to be gone, but called back later, was a little upset, but we talked a little nonetheless.
Woke up Monday, more DDR, more annoying kids, saw Roll Bounce (suprisingly good), started outlining a drawing I've been working on, paid for half of dinner ('cause I'm nice like that), and rode back here. Here I watched TV and played video games and slept... (and something else)...
Now it's Tuesday, I wasted the day working on the aforementioned drawing, IMing people, watchin' The Brother's Grimm, and otherwise slackin'. My dad was given DDR Ultramix for his Xbox from some guy at work. Of the three home versions of DDR I've played, the PS2 version definately wins out. Now I'm off to eat dinner, clean the kitchen (damn you pops), prolly watch another movie, draw some more, and eventually, sleep. This drawing... sigh. Life could be a very good thing for me soon. Oh, and forewarning, I'm going to make a uber-long list of everything I want for my birthday, and I'm gonna distribute it to everyone who might care, and I'm going to request receipts ('cause there will inevitably be some duplicates), and in this way I hope to get some things I actually want this year.
But now, I'm off.
