Sign Up Post for Operation Shules
This is in response to this post. I really hope that people will participate in this hiatus project and to get some of the quieter members to start posting.
March 6th I am aiming for the first official start. Also I am hoping this will give everyone enough time to have seen the season finale and therefore have to avoid spoiling those who haven't seen it. So are you all game? *bats eyes prettily.*
If this is successful for the month of March, I will post dates again in April, and possibly change the theme (ie creative geared challenges).
Edit: This sign up post now includes BOTH March and April. A possible themed challenge will now happen in May.
The purpose of this little activity is keep this community active during hiatus and to hopefully get more members involved and make this a fun place to enjoy and discuss the awesomeness we call Shawn/Juliet.
Feel free to post anything from pic spams, fan mixes, fic/fanvid recommendations, character/episode discussions, icons/fan art etc.
Rules:
1) To keep with Psych tradition, I am keeping with a Friday theme. Therefore, all dates will correspond with every Friday. (If that's an issue, please make sure you post sometime before the end of that weekend).
2) Before you post, please check any previous entries to ensure you aren't repeating anything (especially when it is in regards to fanfic/vid recommendations). Hopefully we can get some variety in posts.
3) Keep discussions focused on the characters of Shawn and Juliet, their relationship between the two or the show in general. Out of respect for James and Maggie, please refrain from speculating and/or talking about their off screen relationship.
4) Please don't hotlink if you choose to do a pic spam or anything graphic related. Upload your pictures to your own website or online photo album.
5) Use an LJ cut for any posts with large content (i.e. a discussion post, more than the one videos/four icons). Be kind to the community's friends list.
6) Credit any source you use for caps, fanvids etc if they aren't yours.
7) If you choose to recommend a fanfic or fanvid, please provide a link, mention who wrote/created it, and why you are recommending it.
8) Absolutely NO ship, character or actor bashing.
9) If you need to change your sign up date, please let me know via this post.

If anyone has any suggestions for rules, please let me know. I could have easily forgotten something. Also if you have any ideas for a possible projects and/or themes for May and June, please let me know. I am hoping we can do this until the show returns in July.
Just to clarify, for this go around, there are no prompts and/or challenges for March and April (that might be for later months). For the month of March and April, it is purely based on your own preference ie posting a fanmix, icons/fanart, fanfic/vid recs, our own (new; please don't post older) fics/vids, picspams, discussion posts. As long as it is Shules related, it is fine. I hope this clears up any confusion. Apologies for not making it clear before.
