Thank you! Yep, well I figured there's obvious attraction between them even if Steve can't quite wrap his head around her lifestyle, so it makes sense they'd end up fucking out some of the tension. He knows she'll go for it, and she's not ashamed to follow through. And yeah, poor backward Steve. He'll learn eventually, let's hope. :)

Yes, this! I hate the slut-shaming and bashing that Christine Everhart gets in the movie and from fandom. As if a female character having sex was more important to fandom than a female character being a liberal feminist journalist that demands accountability from the military industrial complex. Both Tony and Pepper are guilty of pretty crappy behaviour re Christine's big sin of having once had sex with Tony Stark.

This fic is just fantastic! I really love Toni-with-an-I and her unashamed attitude. My personal interpretation of MCU!Steve has been influenced by certain meta posts on what the 40s were like re sex--my Steve is all about respect and staying out of other people's bedrooms. That said, I really liked your Steve and found him very in-character. Especially that he's attracted to Toni's confidence and sense of self-worth, her fierceness.
