another day
another day in Christmas Carol Hell.... Today it was 3 hours of Jingle Bells put on repeat sung by the shrieking little kiddies. But that is ok I have come up with the solution to combat the loss of my sanity(no comment necessary from the peanut gallery I do have some sanity I just hide it very very well). I have purchased a little radio with headphones. Now seeing as that I am at work I can only use one ear phone but that is enough to drive out the mindless repition of songs causing me to go nuts.
Tonight we put a big dent in our Christmas shopping. Yeay!!!!! Plus we did the coolest thing. We got a four year old boy from the Angel Tree and got him some clothes, a bike, and a helmet. It was one of those things that made you feel all good inside and like you can go out and conquer the world. :) All I have to say if Jim and I spoil a strange kid thank heavens we don't have any other children than the dog and cat.... of course if you looked in their toy baskets.... but we won't talk about that.
