Just got home from work. When I work normal-person hours (8:30 A - 5:00 P), I usually listen to NPR news. Today NPR news almost caused my demise as my brain tried to jump out of my left ear and out the window at 65 MPH.
So... Bush's budget. Draconian slashes to Education, HUD, Agriculture, Medicaid, and the EPA. 7% increased funding for Homeland Security, 5% increase to the Pentagon, no mention of spending on the War on Terror (TM).
Nancy Pelosi calls the budget a fraud, other Dems are using the word "hoax."
Personally I think this is Bush seeing just how blatantly he can tell the American people to FUCK THEMSELVES and still get away with it.
But that's just me.
