I know I haven't updated in a while. I guess I just feel like typing now. I'm in a odd state right now, I feel ... down, I guess you could call it, but I have up-beat latin music playing, so its like my mood is a five ton wieght, and the music is like a little Spanish boy trying to pick it up.
I had to coax Mr. Perzinski for my English grade. I turned in virtually all of my homeworks late, so I had an 82 average, but I convinced him that if he wanted me to take AP English (Which he does) he would bump my grade up to a B, which he did. Sigh of relief for me. But now I have to bust my ass in the thrid and fourth quarter because I know he won't cut me any more shit.
So today was the It's Academic tournament at Howard and, for the most part, our team got pwned. However, I got to spend some awesomeness with JAML and Lyle the younger, when we were driving in Glen Bernie looking for my house (Or rather, a way to get there.) The DRGN-sized burger we had at Fuddruckers was awesome, JAML and I were the only ones on the It's Academic team that were brave enough to eat the massive slab of slaughtered moo meat... wusses.
I'm really looking foreward to going to Costa Rica again. It should be a lot more fun this time around because A)my Spanish has improved and B)I know what to expect. I'm also making the trip with people who I know. I don't know, maybe this time, I won't burn my arm on a zip-line... I just realized, in a span of a couple months I'll be missing a lot of school because I won't be in-state. Between the band trip and Costa Rica, I'll be missing five days of school. Speaking of the band trip, I don't know who I'm going to room with. I'll be happy with anyone exept my mother, no offense to her but ... Would you want to room with your mother? Speaking of the band trip, I need to 1)Get my double-tonguing up to speed for Farandole 2)Get that damn annoying part in Americana Folk Suite and 3)Get the air out of my tone to my satisfaction. Lately my tone's been complete, utter, airy crap.
Last night was the coffee house, and it was over-all pretty good. The Redds were sweet, Eric Miles and Scott ? rocked my socks. The next band was great EXCEPT for a certain person in the group. Luckly he only did about half the songs, but still, he needs to develop a sense of tone or else next time I'm bringing rotten tomatoes to chuck. The next kid, Eric Mayes was pretty good, and then they ended with Nick Barbagallo, Dan Garlowski, Adam Kauffman and Michelle ?. Michelle has an awesome voice! I was very plesently surpised. Overall: With the execption of a few people (not just performers) this coffee house was enjoyable.
Well, I'm gonna make like Mieosis and split. (ZOMG! NOT FUNNY BIOLOGY JOKE!)
