Anyone out there got a few hours to spare and web-coding skills? Or a friend so gifted?
I could really use some help. I have had a new website designed for
The Lean Economy Connection (my new friend David and I trying to save the world!) and it's all ready to go, but unforeseen circumstances have meant that the friend who has been helping me with it won't have time to actually put it up on the web for weeks now (at the earliest). It's relatively basic, but it would make a real difference, and once I have the structure in place my rudimentary DreamWeaver skills will suffice for adding the prepared content, maintaining it etc.
The reason this is so important is that having studied this very carefully, I believe
this scheme may be our best chance to get through this here perfect storm of climate change and Peak Oil, but until I get some funding through from the foundations we're waiting on, we're working on a shoestring. At the moment we have politicians, thinkers, writers and the like very interested, but they must be looking at our (currently dire) website, and that is a very sad thought. The Government believe this could feasibly be implemented in the next 5 years, and we need to get our act together to make sure it's done right.
Over the weekend I read
this outstanding book, and was surprised and delighted to see that it commends our TEQs scheme as the only feasible way out. This is good news, but it reminded me that I really need to get my finger out on this one and make it work. Because I enjoy it so much sometimes I forget how important this is.
Anyone?
