Another update already? I'm on a roll, holy shit. Not that there's much to report in a three-day period; you all know how eventful my life is. :P
Our first show was today, and it went over pretty well, as far as I'm aware. When I went out there, there was a blinding spotlight shining in my face, behind that nearly a full house, but when you're a celebrated actor (around Clarke Road anyway :P), it doesn't matter. I was able to pull off everything to the same degree as every rehearsal, and as Geoff put it, "killed it".
Of course, we were acting in front of elementary kids, so we could have fucked up every other line and they'd never know. Tomorrow's audience may not be quite as forgiving, but that shan't destroy my resolve. At the very least, Geoff and I will dominate the stage and make the $10 most people payed a bargain for our flawless acting. I've certainly got the ego to be a professional actor. :P
Speaking of the play, as I was rushing to prepare for yesterday's dress rehearsal, guess who called me?
STREAM.
At the least convenient time ever, Stream finally gets back to me, only to offer me a full-time position, which I would have a hell of a time working a schedule around. If they call me back about part-time, I might take it, but at this point in time it's looking pretty doubtful. Oh well, carts will do me just fine.
I also finally talked to Tristen for the first time in a couple days. And just in time too, we've been back together for 2 months today. Not that it was hard, but I broke my record. :) <3 Tristen
To end this unusually brief update, here's a snippet from Dream Theater's "The Silent Man", just because it's a rather nice song:
When there is reason
Tonight I'm awake
When there's no answer
Arrive the silent man
EDIT:
The two best actors in the whole production. :)
