i hate it when people who should be as smart as i am aren't. i know it isn't very nice or excepting, but it really pisses me off.
so yet again getting ditched by my "best friends" after school, while they all go tag along with and drool over daniel, without them ever thinking about my feelings or considering me at all, was tons of fun. so i rode the bus home and talked to Kate until she got off. then i just sat there listening in on the conversation of the people sitting in front of me and (getting back to my first statement about stupid people) they were talking about religion and how "all religions are really similar in the beging" and for various reasons and i sit there and think to myself "yeah all the major monotheistic religions are, you fucking dumb ass, because they are all based off of the same thing." And then they start talking about that poem in the paper and how "they have no right to suspend this guy because the newspaper published it, so it's their fault" and then "oh, i heard that the kid wrote it to see how much they could get away with in the paper but he wasn't going to publish it and someone else did it under his name" and then this other girl goes "i bet they just did it for publisity because they said no one was reading the paper before" and yet again I wasd thinking "OH MY G-D! how stupid can you be?! don't tell people what happened if you don't have a reliable source of information. This is how the story goes and I know it's true because i heard it from the head of the school board (this is the slightly edited version) The guy and his Jewish friend were doing something 'not good' and he got busted but his friend didn't. so the guy wrote it but "wasn't going to publish it" and someone else did under his name."
