10 Henshins That Were

Henshin 01
It had started as an idle curiosity on either side. She was a freshly minted TSAB member, he was a seasoned detective. She loved books, he did too.
It started on two different cases with a completely related thread, and a inquiry of “Shakespeare?” “Bacon actually.”
Henshin 02
They had met again, this time in uniform. A spell obscuring her features, she rushed in and fought hard and got her backside handed to her. Only to be saved by a knight in green and black. He spoke with dual tones and seemed to be in control of two sides.
She accepted his help when the asymmetrical knight offered his hand to her. His right hand.
Henshin 03
Akiko was jealous of the pretty blonde girl. Shotarou was in love, or at least close to it. Phillip glanced at her and the blonde girl who introduced herself as Vivio was nursing a bump on her head.
She told them she was from a special police force.
Naturally they called Terui.
He told them not to ask him questions.
Henshin 04
A lookup on Vivio lead to a wealth of information.
There were worlds. Out there. In the confines of what they called the dimensional sea.
Akiko expected Vivio to sprout tentacles and molest her.
Vivio just wanted Akiko to stop hitting her with her slipper.

“Hen… shin!” proclaimed Terui as he slammed the Accel GaiaMemory into his belt and twisted his belt.
The Dophant, not being stupid, tried to run. But was tripped up by Vivio who was in full jacket mode.
In the fighting, Vivio lost the tie on her hair. She nearly blinded Shotarou with that waterfall of golden hair as she swung her head around to avoid it from getting grabbed.
Terui enjoyed watching Shotarou fall all over the girl.

Vivio couldn’t stand coffee. But she could drink it when Terui made it. For that, she earned a notch of respect on the gruff policeman’s radar.
She noticed that even Phillip couldn’t stand Akiko’s half-hazard methods of making coffee. But as long as Akiko didn’t mess up her caramel milk, it was fine.
Phillip liked caramel milk apparently, once Vivio introduced it to him.

Vivio had been on Earth for nearly a month now when the news came that they had narrowed down suspects for the offworld sale of Gaia Memories.
She and Shotarou tracked down the culprit to the near abandoned warehouse. Why there were so many, well, blame that on the land grabbing.
Vivio woke up in the hospital after being encased in quartz with Phillip at her bedside.

The TSAB paid the Narumi Detective Agency a considerable sum for bringing in the offworld dealer who had indeed gotten his wares from the mostly defunct research labs of Museum. However, Vivio was deemed to require medical leave.
Instead of spending it back on Mid, Vivio requested to stay in Fuuto for a while.
This delighted her housemates who had gotten used to her camping on their couch.

Vivio found Phillip staring at the stars that night. She asked him what he thought of other worlds. And wasn’t surprised when he said “Knowledge.”
But then he looked at the girl and smiled a little. “And you.” He added honestly.
Vivio flushed as he leaned in and kissed her on the cheek.
That’s when the pink bolt tore through the space his head used to be and a protective mama bear descended on her kidlet.

Nanoha was in full mama bear mode. And Fate was desperately trying to keep her from shooting Vivio’s “Boyfriend”. Phillip calmly defended himself, as much as running and scrambling was defensive.
In the end, it took a CycloneJoker Xtreme vs White Devil showdown to calm her vicious streak down.
Vivio made her mom’s pay for the damage to the Narumi household.
