My weekend...
Hey, you are not going to believe the weekend I've had. It was awesome. My friend Megan and I went to a Concert with Soil and Pitbull Daycare opening for Shinedown in Houston on Saturday. We got there at like 6:30 and we went and got our tickets(Megan had them on Will Call) and we went in at 7 and we walked straight up to the front. There wasn't that many people there, maybe 70 but it was all good. And this radio guy came up to us and asked us, "Who are y'all here to see?" and we looked at him like he was stupid, "Um, Shinedown and Soil." and the guy said, "How would you like to meet Shinedown?" and Megan was like," Are you serious?" and he was like, "Yeah, some radio contestants didn't show up." Megan and I like FREAKED OUT...we met Brent Smith(the lead singer) first and then Jasin Todd(the guitarist) and then Barry(the drummer) and finally Brad(the bassist) and we got autographs and pictures and we talked to Brent a lot. We talked about their song, "45" and college and stuff. Jasin has THE MOST BEATIFUL BLUE EYES!! After that, we went back to our spot in the front and then the first band, Pitbull Daycare came out at 8:30 and played for about 45 minutes and then Megan and I went and found poster of PBDC(Pitbull Daycare) and got 4 of the 5 guys in PBDC's autograph and I bought their cd--"Unclean" and I learned they are from San Antonio, Texas; which is cool. Then we went back to the stage and Soil had started already and we listen to them until about 10:00ish and Megan got a drumstick and a guitar pic and I got a guitar pic and we took picture and stuff. We got pictures with Soil's lead singer,Ryan and their bassist, Tim(such a cutie; Megan and I got a guitar pick from him; he was really, really sweet) and their guitarist, Adam. Then Shinedown came on at around 10:30 and it was sooo awesome! They finished up at like 11:45/12:00 and then we hung out with Soil's guitarist Adam for like 45 minutes and then he invited me and Megan see their tour bus and so Megan called her parents(who we gave ride to go see Megan's uncle who also lives in Houston) that we were going to go get some more band stuff from their bus. We went to their bus and he offered us drinks and Megan and I took them. He gave me a Sky Blue and Megan a Bud Light and each a shot of whiskey. Then the lead singer, Ryan, came in and took out a Sky Blue and drank it and then went for another one and was like, "Who took my shit? What's in your hand(my hand)? What is in your hand? Who gave you that?" I was like, "He(Adam) did!! He did! I swear!" and Adam and Ryan got into a little squarrel about it. I finished my drink and I put it on the table and Ryan asked, "You done?" and I said, "Yes." Then he asked, "Is it empty?" and I said back," Yes it is." and he picked up the bottle and was like, "Good." and I was like, "I know not to waste good shit." And then Megan and I were like, "We have to go...it's a long drive home." And so I get up to walk out the door and Ryan starts hatin on my belt, which was like 2 sized too big and I was telling him about it and all of a sudden Ryan says, "What the hell is going on over there?" and I look over to Megan and she's making out with Adam and I was like, "I don't know." And so we left the bus and Megan and I went back to her car and Megan was like, "Don't say anything about the drinking or anything like that."I was like, "Okay." So, we started driving and Megan was swirving(but not bad...her parents couldn't tell. Then we went to Whataburger and there was cops there and I was in the bathroom and Megan and I were talking and I said, "I'm trying not to stumble and whatnot because there are cops RIGHT THERE." And Megan was like, "I know. Me too." Then we got our food and ate it and tried to act like the normal me, without alcohol in me, in front of her parents. Then we got in the car and drove home and I got to my house at 3:45 and went to take a shower and went to bed at like 4:30. It was a surreal weekend...completely...Luv ya lots!!
