Today I took a little time to visit the Mission at San Juan Capistrano with my aunt Vic. My aunt contributes to the restoration and preservation of the old mission and she urged me to come see it with her this time. I hadn't been there since like fourth grade. Vic tells me our great-grandfather like 7 or 8 generations back helped construct the main bell tower, (which unfortunately due to repairs i do not have a picture of to share). It was kinda nice, the friendly staff all know my aunt as a regular and treated us extra cool or whatever. It felt so tranquil there, away from the dizzying chaos of inner-city life. For some reason i liked touched a lot of things, Cactus flowers, walls, the water in the ponds. Sorta like how a little kid touches everything in sight. I had a good time, we didn't stay too long which i liked, just long enough to let the mood marinate. Enjoy these pics
