Today...
* I'm craving Earl Green tea.
* I'm craving hearty vegetarian/vegan food, with lots of garlic, lentils, chickpeas, tinned tomatoes and spices. Big vegetarian casserole, or pasta, or curry! Mmmm.
* I really don't feel like working - I have consistently underslept since Saturday night, and now I feel utterly deflated, and I look like a breed of Undead (my skin does, anyway). And my workmates, who more or less own me, will be very annoyed indeed if I don't start being useful soon. And then they might eat my brain. With the...sharp...brain-poky things that they all have. And seasoning from the kitchens.
* I'm looking forward to seeing The Living End on Friday
* I'm planning to listen to the new TLE and Tool albums when I get home. So far I've managed to be mesmerised by the album art for 10,000 Days, and that's about it.
* We're going out for dinner - The Malaya, I believe. Haven't been before.
* I want to start vaguely looking for tutoring jobs (English, possibly Bio, and Art Theory at high school level), but I don't know where to start.
* I feel very greedy and capitalist today: I want an iPod Nano, a new desktop computer, a new phone, a fancy digital camera, good-quality cotton bedsheets, pretty dresses (I don't have ANY!), pink set of tools, pink kitchen utensils, pots and pans, an English tea set, ties and girl shirts that go with ties, and about a million other things. Anyone feeling generous? Alternatively - anyone have some cool ties that I can *borrow*?
* I wish I'd taken proper photos of everyone's costumes on Saturday night. I know there are some photos, but probably not of all the cool costumes. If there are any decent photos of me I'll try to remember uploading them. I went as Alice!
