(no subject)
sooooo I start work tomorrow. I'm just a LITTLE bit nervous! Is it normal to feel like everything you ever learned in school just flew right out of your head the day before you actual need to use that knowledge for a job? I kinda feel like that right now.
On Wednesday Mom and I went to McWilliams in Danville 'cause she wanted to get two new sets of scrubs for her job. I just went along to get a warm up jacket. Welllll... I came out of there with $200 in scrubs! That brings my total up to 10 pairs of scrub pants, 12 tops, and 3 jackets. I think I've got enough for now. =P I bought some of the cutest tops! I cannot express how happy I am that my work attire has the comfort of pajamas. WooT.
In case anyone on here is wondering, the wedding was GREAT! Everyone enjoyed our uber-non-formal reception. It still doesn't really feel all that different. Perhaps if I had fully changed my name to Reilly instead of using Hauer-Reilly I'd feel different, but keeping the Hauer is a comfort. Plus, since Matt and I have lived together for 2 1/2 years, there's not a whole lot to be done to make this marriage feel different from before. Yesterday we put him on my bank account, so that was a little bit of an eye opener. Tomorrow I'll have to fill in info for him to be on my benefits from work, so that'll feel more marriage-like as well.
I almost forgot to add the "-Reilly" when I was signing my name at the bank. It's going to take a looooooong time to get used to that. :)
