(no subject)
OK, so as far as jobs go, I don't know where I got offers yet.
The ER won't make up their minds on who to give offers to until the middle of February - so I've got about 2 weeks yet to wait before I'll know on any of them. They wait until ALL offers are in to give the info to the applicant.
I really hate this waiting game.
My friend Sid says that she has a gut feeling I got the ER, but I dunno. I have no idea how many other people applied, how many people they're gonna hire as new grads, and what the experience of the other applicants are. *SiGh* I really want to work there, especially after my clinical day there! It was totally awesome! I even got to "play" on the helipad and watch LifeFlight land - AT NIGHT. So cool with all the lights! Omigosh, I want to be a flight nurse so flipping bad! That's my ultimate goal, and nothing is going to stop me from getting it!
I ran with BVAA Friday night - nothing good. Was there for 6 hours, only went on one call. Boo. It's always so quiet when I'm there. Nothing major ever happens. Which is a good thing, because that means no one is getting hurt, but it does suck for me because it means I get no experience. Blah. If I keep saying how quiet it is, I'll eventually jinx myself and it'll be one hell of a night. I hope. Sort of. lol
