"Hey, you," says Val, a little bit smugly.

Marley looks mildly miffed as the ball goes flying.
"I'd almost got a new record." Beat. "Hey."

"Did you hear the latest from Steve? He's building a bigger, better Vader."

Smug Val is smug.

"I'm helping out by raiding trashed military installations for parts. Nothing big yet-- it's still mostly in the planning stages."

"Will it have rocket launchers?" One track mind whut?

Snort. "I'll ask."

[just_marley]

"Good. They're important for fending off monsters."

[selflesslight]

"And being badass. Don't forget the badass."

[just_marley]

"I'd never forget the badass."

[selflesslight]

"Damn straight you won't."

Marley gives her a solemn nod.

Val snickers.

And, because HI BOYFRIEND, hugs him.

Marley laughs, sliding his arms about Val's waist.
