Will went shopping/looting in town and found a bow and arrows so he enters the kitchen with a partially butchered deer. He sees Lucy and bows,

"Brought some food for e'eryone, milady."

She nods once, consideringly, and nibbles at her peach.

"Good."

Not thank you. Hey, she won't be eating it.

He pauses, not sure where to put it and afraid he's said something wrong,

"Um aye, milady, just wished to be o'use."

[littlestcooper]

Smile.

He has succeeded!

A slight indicative nod to the fridge, which is probably the best place for the deer, all things considered.

He's already butchered it a fair bit so he opens the fridge, eyes the deer,

"Might need to cut it down a bit more."

[littlestcooper]

"Probably."

Nibble.

[will_scarlett]

"Should I do it in 'ere?"

[littlestcooper]

Shrug.

Possibly this is a yes.

He'll take it as a yes but bow again as he gets a good knife and cuts the deer up even smaller before putting it away into the fridge,

"Thank ye for lettin' all o'us stay on yer land, milady."

"Welcome."

In both senses.

That makes him smile and relax as he cleans off his hands and nods towards the peaches,

"May I 'ave one, milady?"

[littlestcooper]

She switches the one she's holding to her left hand and tosses him a peach without looking at the bowl, returning the smile in a faint and distant sort of way.

Now he grins and gives her another small bow as he starts eating,

"'ave ye seen Tom 'bout, milady? Wanted to tell 'im 'bout a new person who arrived."

Headshake.

"He's not here."

[will_scarlett]

"Oh aye, good."

[littlestcooper]

Blink.

"Why?"
