Or it could be someone on the shorter side. Someone dark, with curves to make a man's palms sweat and a smile to turn bones to water. Someone leaning against a tree, hands behind her back and one leg drawn up with the heel of her boot resting on the tree's trunk.
"You look like shit."
The voice is soft, husky, wickedly bad. The words speak for themselves.
The red-headed man turns his head enough to glance back over his shoulder to the woman- no, girl- stood a few paces away up on the bank. She was pretty enough, yes, but he had other things to worry about than wooing her. That just may come later should be find this Shadow worthy of staying in. "Looks can be deceiving." Well..the scentence would have worked if he didn't wince so openly as he stood. "You haven't seen another being around here. A woman a little shorter than myself with dark hair and green eyes?"
And the first reaction that Brand does is to pull upon the engery he has left, the air crackling a little about him as he did so. "So you live.." came his very, very cold words as a hate so dark filled his eyes that none of his siblings had seen before. Well, all save for his full blooded siblings. It was a shame he didn't kill them when he had the chance as well.
His laugh was colder than the prestine snow that ever fell upon Amber. "You stupid bitch..You think it was all about revenge? You play well at being a bright one though it's obviously clear Corwin holds all the brains in your part of the family."
Pausing his head tilted almost snake like to the right. "I should have slit that pretty little throat of yours when I had the chance. More blood for my work.."
For a moment Brand was there infront of her striding forward then he was gone with a shimmer before appearing right behind her. His hands reached out with his arm trying to wrap around her neck. Of course not!Deirdre may know what he is doing. "My work," he breaths out with an evil laugh, "to destroy you all."
Whirling around the taller man is snarling, glaring more than daggers at the woman who is standing behind him now. "It's..complicated.." Poping his neck slightly the Amberite kept an intense almost insane hard look upon the woman. "If you are my sister I shall snap your neck before you have time to react. Tell me who you are and I may deem you worthy to live.."
"Trust me, honey, I think I...trump you. My mother is a goddess of destruction and death. Medusa, of the snakes and birds and cycle of life. My father is known as the Devil.
"I know not of these two you speak of." Brand had spent time in Shadow Earth but, well, he had never paid much attention to its history. It never interested him. "You are lying. One of my siblings sent you didn't they?"
He took a step forward head tilting a little more than normal to the right. In all senses he was insane..
He studied her with green eyes, an unblinking gaze before grunting and smirking. Not in a dismissive sort of way but the way of someone eyeing a new toy. She had abilities, yes, ones that could come in handy when he returned to Amber to finish the job. It was..yes.
"Do you have a name, girl, or should I keep calling you that?"
"You look like shit."
The voice is soft, husky, wickedly bad. The words speak for themselves.

"Not terribly brotherly, are you," Josh asks in her seductive little purr.

Then, green eyes flickered about the area before looking back to her. "And where is here? This isn't a place that I am familiar with."
