(and the words will hold you
in their loquacious keeping
stone to stone the answer told you
is that stone is there to show you
how the world did its weeping)

Remember those dream posts?

Where dream-Inty is, dream-Gabriel is never far behind.

(Especially as certain Understandings have been reached, and, well, Gabriel is no longer sleeping on the floor. A great deal of blushing was involved.)

His dreamscape is shifting, restless, ill-at-ease. (It's what happens when, on top of everything else murderous future incarnations of yourself turn up. No matter what the mitigating factors.)

The rainbow flicker in the air and earth and water makes everything better.

No, really, it does.

It does. It does it does.

He loves you, Inty.

"I love you too."

With no discernible transition, she's hugging him, resting her head comfortably against his shoulder with rainbow hands cuddled around his waist.

This is Gabriel's best favourite position!

(Would you believe that this is the same kid with the twelve-foot personal space? It's true!)

It is further improved by kisses, in his arguably humble opinion.

Kisses improve everything!

It's a well-known fact.

See?

No, because he kisses with his eyes half-closed.

It's adorable.

And damn but those eyelashes are something to look at.

(Eyes open or shut, Inty can still see them.)

Oh, now look. You've made him blush in the middle of a kiss. How utterly unheard-of.

...

(Doesn't mean he's stopping.)

(Her everything is something to look at. :D)

--does she need to start listing all the bits of him she likes to look at?

Because she can.

Without pausing the kiss.

It's a long list.

Might take a while.

Let's start with the adorable smile...

If they have some time on their hands? Then the scenery of the dream is going to shift and ripple about them like a kaleidoscope, a storm with the two of them in its eye, bright hues flicking and growing to push them closer.

When it settles, they're in the city of Intuition.

(He wants her to be her whole self again.)

Something strange about this garden, though. The others -- the dancing amethyst, the delicate snowglobes, the animals frozen in time -- had themes, focal points at their centres. This doesn't seem to have...

...wait. It does. And it's them.

She doesn't need to see it to know it, and she doesn't need to pause for breath to tell him she loves him.

Which she does.

Extra lots, in the common parlance.
