So before too long, there's a teenage once-superhero leaning on the wall by the back door, smirking a little at the grey guy with the music in an utterly pleased sort of way.
She'd say hi, but he probably wouldn't hear her anyway over the music. She's just gonna lounge and listen until he notices.

Eventually, he does notice a lady around - just not the one he was thinking of. Angelo looks up and gives Steph a moment's glance - but since she seems to be enjoying the music, all she gets is a slight grin and a nod of greeting.

Steph's home 'verse has green people and white people and giant moth-turning-into-killer-beast monsters. Grey is practically normal.
