Steph's kind of thinking it's probably actually been more than a few days since she was last here.

She can't figure out times exactly, but man, there's all sorts of people here that've got to have taken more than a few days to arrive. There appears to be a medieval castle and a skyscraper added to Shay's cargo liner. There's a long, low bunker

"Hey, is that a kraken?!" Coooooooool.

"That's what Sokka says." Steph glances up at the newcomer and grins. "Weird, right? I totally love this world."

Spots, meanwhile, waves happily at Samuel and makes some bubbles for him.

(Don't ask how.)

Sam gives Spots a tentative wave.

"Krakens are cool. Did you know that they eat people?"

"Apparently this one's someone's pet or something?" Steph crouches at the water's edge to peer at Spots thoughtfully. "He hasn't tried to eat me or anything yet. But I haven't really got close."

[broked_reality]

"Well, give it time. When he's fully grown, I'm sure he'll want to t'eat people."

Sam pauses, for a moment. It might be interesting to try and stimulate Spots' growth so that he becomes ridiculously huge.

A moment's thought tells him that this is a bad idea.

"Socks reckons it was one of these that ate New York," Steph says helpfully.

Spots nods happily, a sloshy sort of manoeuvre.

[broked_reality]

"Kraken will do that." Solemnly.

[i_spoiled_it]

"Are you speaking from experience?"

[broked_reality]

"Might be. Y'never know."

[i_spoiled_it]

"If you're secretly a kraken in disguise, I'll have to arrest you," Steph says, flashing an imaginary badge with a Vry Srs face.

[broked_reality]

"I promise I'm not hiding any tentacles under my shirt." Solemnly.

[i_spoiled_it]

Steph laughs, nodding. "Good. Could be totally unhealthy."

[broked_reality]

"And painful, if somebody were to chop one off or something."

[i_spoiled_it]

"Not that anyone here would dream of chopping tentacles," Steph says gravely.

The kraken squeaks and slithers back into the pool, plopping below the surface with all twenty-zillion tentacles tucked up tight underneath it.

[broked_reality]

"Surely not, surely not."

[i_spoiled_it]

Steph leans over the pool to see if she can see where the little squidthing went.

"Although they'd be useful. Tentacles, I mean."
