Specifically, he's trying to carve a wooden duck without using his powers.

It just looks like a blob.

"Hi, Shay," Eden says, with a friendly smile and wave - a smile rather more dazzling than her normal arsenal of smiles.

"Hey, Eden." Grin. "Something you need?"

The smile doesn't falter.

"Your car. I'll pay for gas and everything! I just need to get to Metropolis and drop some stuff off at my new place."

"Sure. Just point out on a map where your new place is, I'll pick it up in a few days."

"Oh - thanks! But I could totally drive it back if that'd be easier."

She's only offering because she's sure it won't be accepted.
