Most people were not exactly pleased to find themselves plucked from home and dropped into a new, strange, and dangerous world. Those who were pretty pleased had one thing in common: in one manner or another, they were getting laid

And she's also, as it happens, wandering around and looking at things.
Not much surprises her, so when she turns a corner and Angelo is very suddenly there, she's already partway into smiling and waving a (very very cheerful) hello.
Let's just be grateful she remembered her manners enough not to greet him by name, shall we?
Which is good because Angelo tends to be less than impressed and more than annoyed with mind readers.
But pretty, strange-colored girls waving at him are just fine. After a blink and a bit of leaning back out of surprise, he smirks a little and waves back. "Uh, hey."
Hey, Angelo is nice! It's friendly that he has issues with. And, yes, they are two different things.
"Angelo," said grey boy replies, with a helpless little smile that Inty may or may not be used to. It's the smile of a person not used to smiling at strangers but finding it impossible to not smile in front of this particular stranger. "Nice t'meet you, too, Intuition."
That's a long, complicated name. It also sounds less like a name and more like a codename.
"It'd be too much t'ask if you were a mutant, eh?"
Intuition seems to have that effect on people. In the face of boundless joy and a generalized affection for everything, it's often difficult to keep from feeling a little cheerier yourself.
"No, I'm not. Sorry."
Slightly apologetic smile.
"I used to be abstract. Now I'm not anymore. It's strange."
She doesn't notice the language switch. Inty is often unaware of these things. It should be fairly noticeable to Angelo, however, because a sudden switch from perfectly New York English (thank you, Gabriel) to perfectly L.A. Spanish (that would be yours, Ange) is more than a little jarring despite the completely natural ease with which she does it.
Since Angelo himself speaks English with an arguably thick accent, yes, it's very noticeable. There should have been some New York in those words, some vague mangling of the language white people always manage.
Not that Inty's white.
...well, not all of her.
But brows lift and Angelo's obviously impressed, smirking a little at her. "Strange like slippin' into fluent Spanish without battin' an eye?"
Inty blushes, oddly enough. Which means that her cheeks go from cream-teal-violet to teal-violet-gold with a faint undertone of red. At no point, it may be noted, do they pass through white along the way.
"Was I speaking Spanish? --oh, I'm doing it again, aren't I."
Slightly self-conscious giggle.
"I sometimes forget which language I'm speaking," she explains, ducking her head in a further effort to hide the blush already mostly obscured by her natural coloration (it's moved on to violet-gold-green now). "It's a part of being, well, Intuition. What languages I speak depends on who I'm talking to. I'm glad you're not perturbed by it."
Angelo blinks, a little more surprised by this answer than he would have been had she told him she just spoke fluent Spanish. "...guess not," he begins, not totally sure what to make of her. "Not the weirdest thing I've seen. Definitely weird... but not the weirdest."
The thing about being Inty is that when she smiles cheerfully at him, it's because she knows about Inanna and her distraction techniques, and is happy for Angelo that he's found someone who suits him so well.
"I don't get bored," she replies after a thoughtful pause. It's true. She doesn't.
Especially not with Gabriel around. He, too, possesses distraction techniques - though not quite the same as Inanna's, perhaps.

Grin. Inty loves meeting new people. Especially nice ones like Angelo.
(Inty's definition of nice is broader than most people's.)

It's just that she also fluently speaks every other language spoken by anyone she's ever met.
And Inty isn't always very good at figuring out what not to mention.
"Yes," she agrees ruefully. "I am very weird."

Beam!
"It's good when people don't do that."
Because when they do it kind of hurts, even though they don't mean it most of the time.

"I bet," he replies, smirking a little. "So you been here a while, too, eh? Any advice on how to keep from bein' totally bored?"
Aside from Inanna.
Despite her excellent distraction techniques.
