Kate hadn't been patrolling much with her third trimester. Too hard to get around like she used, and had taken to waddling around the castle. She had been experiencing the occasional contractions, but when they faded, it didn't seem like a big deal yet.
Today? There were a lot more of them, and she was trying to get to the infirmary as quickly as possible. And then something else happened.
Her water just broke.
