Tim has been having an interesting time of it lately. Being out from under the influence of Raven, of M'gann, his head has been clearing up some.He still doesn't regret what he has done, but he does see that the one way isn't always THE way.
Which has led to him exploring the outskirts of Metropolis, and out further then that, to see what he can see, find what he can find, and well, quite frankly, the skies over Metropolis have started to get a little crowded with costumes. Tim needs a break.
Which is why when he spots the mansion covered in foliage, he doesn't think twice about stopping to investigate.
The place is large, and familiar. Being the Worlds Greatest Detective, Tim doesn't need to see the sign 'Wayne Manor' buried in rubble to know that this is some alternate form of his home. Clearing away the rubble, Tim finds himself puzzled. It looks like Wayne Manor, but at the same time, it feels more like what Wayne Manor should be, then what it actually was.
Once inside, he finds the colors too bright, even without electricity. this place is just too... too. But it is a Wayne Manor, which means that somewhere... Finding no grandfather clock, Tim tries other things, almost at random, until he finds the bust, attached to the desk. The work of a moment to find the dial within, and then, presto, the bookcase slides back and-
"Poles? Really? You have to be kidding me."
But, when in Bat-Rome. The bigger pole is slid down. There is much cursing at the bottom, as Tim removes the second layer of Batsuit, absently checking the contents of the utility belt, stocking up on what he's missing, except for "Bat-Shark Repellent? Bat-shi-" The night vision in his cowl passes over the multitude of bat themed equipment, finding something he's been missing dearly.
Which all goes to explain why there is Batman TV show version of the Batmobile cruising the highways of Kansas, complete with Batman. Yes, Tim is wearing the new suit he found, to get a feel for it. It might be helpful.
