Sam had slept (read, passed out) in the car on the way to Leah's. Not as much as he would have liked, and the tiredness and headache leads to a bit of unsteadiness as he walks through Leah's house - but enough to get where he's going.
The offer of tea has him smiling tiredly even as he lowers into one of her armchairs. When was the last time anyone but Leah offered him tea?
He may or may not be avoiding Dean's gaze completely. He'll be needing some aspirin before he's able to take on that fight.
She calls back, very pointedly. But there's the sound of a fridge opening and closing, and the clink of bottles - Leah keeps drinkable Mexican beers for guests, where guests usually equate to Sam.
The kettle boils, she pours out a pot, clinks some teacups and strolls through, balancing the tray easily.
Seh still has a thick hairband pulled down over her eyes from being out; she's not ready to expose Dean and Jo to her full face quite yet.
"Where's everyone sitting?"
She has to act like a proper hostess in a stressful situation. It's culturally dictated.
Sam could use a beer now, too, actually, looking particularly interested when she comes out with a few bottles. "In the left chair," he tells her - he's been here often enough to know which one she considers that to be.
He sits up a little when she comes forward, not wanting her to trip on his outstretched legs, and continues to avoid Dean's gaze. "Do you have any aspirin?"
