"Who's Rincewind?" Shay asks from his spot sitting on a rock nearby. "Is he very fluffy?"

Ooh! A native!

"Oh, no, no, he's a wizard." Twoflower hurries over, the suit causing him to clunk in an ungainly sort of fashion, and offers his hand to shake. "It's a delight to meet you, sir."

[not_a_dragon]

"Oh," Dejectedly. "I thought he was a pet. A magic pet."

Shay sulks for about three seconds and then grabs Twoflower's hand and shakes it enthusiastically.
"Nice to meet you too!"

"Is this your home?" Twoflower's not going to be the first to stop shaking hands, nosiree. "It looks wonderful. Really getting back to nature. I can't tell you how much I wish I had my iconograph with me."

It's... a mountain.

Shay doesn't intend to stop anytime soon.

"Not my home, no. I got teleported here. These things happen."

Oh, it is on.

"You too?" Probably he shouldn't sound so delighted. "What an amazing co-incidence. Was it some sort of spell, do you think?"

"I don't know! Probably some weird thingjymajiggerydoot."

That? Is the best word ever. Twoflower beams. More than he was before, anyway.

"I was falling over the edge of the world at the time," says Twoflower conversationally. "I think Rincewind was, too, so you could meet him any moment."

"Were you bungee-jumping at the time?" Valid question, Shay thinks.

[omg_tourist]

"I don't think so?"

He'll answer once you explain what bungee-jumping is, Shay.

Shay considers this.
"You'd know if you had been."

Twoflower surrenders the hand-shaking crown to Shay, though only to detach the round copper helm (to someone from Shay's time and reality, the whole outfit would resemble nothing more than a very old-fashioned diving-suit, the kind with moon-boots and a gigantic metal fishbowl on the head with a little window in the front). It's hot in there.

"I was in a ship, if that helps? Not a sailing ship. An enclosed one, all metal. Fabulous craftsmanship."

"I have a ship!" Shay beams. "It's a land-ship."

"Really?" Now if that wouldn't make a fantastic iconograph, nothing would. "May I see?"

[not_a_dragon]

"Not unless you go to Kansas."

[omg_tourist]

"Is there a means of transportation there?"

On the one hand, he should probably wait for Rincewind to arrive. On the other, LAND-SHIP.
