"Shit shit shit!" Jessica tumbles down into the tunnels, clutching her "shopping" bags tightly.

There are things. She is pretty sure they are real things. And they are CREEPY.

It is time for more "hiding in the tunnels and hoping they don't go anywhere dark."

Kate was running through the tunnels on patrol again. Trying to weaken the number of new Creepers.

She recognized Jessica's voice, and hurried over.

"Jess? Jessica, are you ok?"

"Did you see those?!" OH GOD PLEASE HAVE SEEN THEM PLEASE SHE DOES NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS ALONE.

Kate went to touch her shoulders to reassure her, "Yes, I have. That and the giant tree out near the Park. Calm down. You're not sick or anything are you?"

She shudders. "Ugh. No, I think I'm okay. I mean, I'm used to seeing things, but... those were different."

Shaking her head, she adds, "Man... just when I thought it was safe to... Oh, God, I sound like a damn movie trailer."

"Yeah you do, but come on, attacking plants with faces is pretty new even for me."

Kate nodded, "All right, but if you start sneezing or feeling sick, I'll get you to the infirmary. Will's already got a fever. Pollen's got something to do with it since he got covered in the stuff."

"Oh, great. Well, I've never had allergy problems before, so maybe I'm safe. Not that I'm getting near those things if I can help it."

"I think it's more than an allergy, but yeah, be careful. We noticed that aiming for the heads of those creeping things takes them down."

"Great, plant zombies. I'd say something about seeing everything, but that'd be tempting fate."

Sigh. "What I wouldn't give for a flamethrower. Except I'd probably just hurt myself."

"Maybe, maybe not, you get good with one... We could put a major dent in their numbers."

[notvitiligo]

"...well... even with gravity against me, I guess I can't hurt this place much worse than it already is."

Snort. "Let me know if you find one, I guess."

"Garo suggested giant ones, but again, need to be built. In a pinch, I've been getting by with quick fire arrows."

She then considered. "We could go guerilla style with this against the plants. If there's still liquor stores around, can make molotov cocktails. Probably can even find supplies for homemade explosives."

"Hey, good point. I know there's some gas around here, and probably more stuff stored somewhere. I'll see what I can scare up."

OK, a Plan. That is definitely good. Keeps her from contemplating the horror of creepy plant zombies.

"Small ones would be easier to control and use anyway. Anything to limit their numbers."

"Right. Though you'll forgive me if I don't run up right now. There's only so much weirdness I can deal with at a time."

Kate nodded, "Sure, in the meantime, I'm gonna check around for others. Also medicine and any doctors or healers." Her determined expression slipped a little to reveal the worry underneath.
