OK, so nobody specifically told her to make shortcuts at the hospital so she can get around quickly. But then again, nobody told her not to. So that makes it allowed! Logically! And surely, nobody would protest to her being able to do her job more quickly, right? Right

Claire is at the reception desk doing paperwork.

- There's always paperwork, dammit, even if it's just "notes on scrap paper."

"Uh," she says when the first few things arrive with 95, "what are they?"

"Ah, shortcuts. So we can move about the place more quickly." She's not sure if humans can use shortcuts, but they probably can! Humans are clever!

"Perhaps I should make one for the restroom as well... Don't you think?"

"Yeah, probably," Claire says, distractedly. And because she has no survival instincts, she reaches out to poke onte.

It clicks. But doesn't seem to do anything.

"Ara... perhaps you can't use them after all." :/ How disappointing! "But I suppose that's all right, too. It's good to have someone who can stay behind, right?"

"Not if I need to use the bathroom," Claire says. And she clicks it again, because she likes the noise.

"Ah, yes... though, I could be back quickly enough with other ones in place."

There will be a shortcut in every room! A chicken in every pot!

"After all, I don't think there could be anything that would take us away from the desk for that long..."

"Not if things carry on like this," Claire agrees. "I'm bored."

"hm... It does seem to be going slowly here," she agrees. "There isn't much left to clean, after all." But there's PAPERWORK! "Would you like some help?" OH PLEEEEEASE! "Once that's done, perhaps we could try a game?"

"Sure," Claire pushes the whole lot towards 95. "It's mostly just my test results."

95 can do things with it if she wants! Claire's bored of that, too.

It's documents! To be sorted! And filed! And generally dealt with!

For the next several minutes, there is a very happy OS working rather faster than a human could hope to. At least, a human without superspeed powers. She hums a bit.

"Are you a patient as well?"

"No, I'm an experiment," Claire says cheerfully. She hops onto the desk to watch 95 work with faint amusement.

Huuuuh?!

"Oh my. An experiment?" Aren't they supposed to be locked up in the basement, begging to be let out, until some hero saves them? She's certainly sure they're not supposed to be doing their own paperwork.

Claire's helpful like that.

"Yeah," she says. "We're trying to figure out if I can be hurt."

Beat.

"Which isn't as freakish as it sounds."

"Surely that's not a difficult thing to do?" Y'know, poke her with a pointed stick!

It may be noted that she is not actually working on comprehending the documents being worked with. That is Not Her Job, after all.

"You'd've thought," Claire agrees. She nods her chin towards 95, challenging.

"Try it."
