Steph's coming back down towards the Cooper farm from Smallville, on foot. It's a hot day and she's flushed and sweaty from the run, but she's grinning.
The folk in Smallville are mostly happy to help her out with supplies and gear for a trip to Gotham, on the strength of Clark's name. And possibly because she didn't tell them she's not quite seventeen.
Before stocking up on anything, though, she's got to find a car to actually get there in.
That is proving difficult.
Still -- everything else is falling into place. She even got hold of a pair of jeans that actually fits! And it's such a nice day, and despite the end of the world, everyone here is actually really nice, and the sun's really warm and she's just bubbling with good mood.
