So, Zuko'd been at a bit of a loss for how to find out who wanted to go hunt and scout around, short of getting up on the bunker and yelling, until he saw the makeshift notice board. At that point he'd gone and found something that works for paper - the back of an empty cornflakes box - and written out his proposal.

Trouble is, he doesn't write any English, so the next part of his plan will have to involve getting the assisstance of someone who does.

For those few that can read what he's written, it goes; A scouting and hunting party will be going out in a day or two, to see some more of the area and bring back any fresh meat we find. If you want to come along, speak to Zuko. I can be found firebending in the training field most mornings.

But wait! Now, next to Zuko's Four Nations script, there is an English translation with the same message. Mostly the same message. The spelling is unusual, and some words are sounded out phonetically, but it's perfectly readable thanks to Sokka-the-older's mad writing skills.

Zuko's standing about nearby, and glowering vaguely at the one or two left over notes - completely incomprehensible. Ridiculous.

zuko, sokka (au), sokka (season three)
