Probably the entirety of the Shatterverse is familiar by now with the traditional flash-and-bang routine. This time, it happened in a rather grotty corner of Philadelphia, and in those lawless streets the bewildered-looking man it brought has since been fatally mugged. Twice. (Yes, he can fight, because the place he's come from is especially hard on those who can't-- but in the age-old battle of fists vs big pointy weapons there tends to be a clear and consistent winner.)

It hasn't improved his mood. This suit was expensive. (At least the muggers didn't steal anything; bursting into flames tends to discourage people, for some reason.)
