In reality, she demanded his horse, and, being the helpful sort, he agreed. There was very little sweetness about it.

"I bet you're just lovin' that, huh, Beau?" She pats the horse's neck with a sympathetic smile.

As it is, it's probably just to clear his nostrils so he can better sniff Sonia. Hey, he remembers her! She brought him a treat, right? Beau nuzzles her hopefully, snuffling for apples.
"I've been keeping him calm, though I haven't needed to as much as I believed I would." Oliver beams at his horse proudly. "He's been doing very well."

"So which one is Miss Dubois?" Sonia cannot be bothered to keep track of the people who are not either Like Her or Possible Dangers.

"...I guess now would be a bad time, though." Doing Good and protecting humanity (and various vaguely similar and nondemonic others) is all well and good, but she would rather NOT get driven off the farm for disrupting someone's party.

Oliver is trying, in his own way, to help Sonia out - though he doesn't really think Bridgette has anything to hide in this regard, so his tone is light.

When Sonia saddles up, Beau would like to do something fun. How 'bout a canter, little lady?

Though she will be steering him back if he decides this is an excuse for going home.
