Goldy and Dinah have been holed up in a ransacked bar in Dixon, Iowa for the past week, waiting for the Fable's broken hip and ribs to heal. Zinda had dropped off enough provisions to last them through the short healing process, including some alcohol. Even so, it hasn't been the funnest time for either of them: rehabilitation is never an enjoyable process, the bar is a shit hole, and vehicles have been periodically cruising up and down the street outside. Sentient vehicles with murderous intent in all likelihood. Dinah hasn't tempted fate by investigating so far.
Both women are in better spirits this afternoon though. Goldy's recovery is complete, so it's time to blow this joint and kick some evil machine ass!
