It's just another day in the odd world and about the Farm. However the being that is walking down the road to the Farm is not. The closer the cloaked figure gets the taller she seems to get as well which could easily make her something to be stopped and stared at. Not that she would mind, though, she's busy reading a book as she walks

Is that a human?

Yellow little creature? Could it be a mouse or..a cat or...a cat-dog..thing? The Ogier's teacup sized eyes go wide as she looks down at the strange little creature. Soon, though, she is crouching low on the ground, carefully shifting her staff and pack about to better get down to a safer height. Even sitting on the ground she's at a good 4' or so in height. "Hello there, little friend," she says in a soft low rumble so not to hurt its ears. "What would you be then?"

"Pikachu," it answers. "Pi pikapika?" It points up at her.

YOU ARE A VERY TALL PERSON, WHATEVER YOU ARE.

"Pikachu?" the Ogier repeats, holding out a hand for the little fellow to examine if it wants to. She smells like flowers and the woods. "I am afraid I do not understand little friend, though I am Ambriel, daughter of Amilia, daughter of Nyelle, Treesinger of Stedding Tsofu."

It was cute, whatever it was, and the smile that started to split her face in half was bright and warm.

Not a human, either. Hmm.

Lots of sniffing is going on. Followed by Cloak Investigation, because that is what one does with any pile of fabric that happens to be drapey. At least, if one is this pikachu.

Ambriel laughs, a reasonable rumble sound that seems to make the forest beam with life for a moment. "Inquisitive aren't you, little friend! Walk with me a bit? These lands I do not know else I have taken a wrong turn back to Cairhien."

She watches the little yellow creature running about with a wide beaming smile. Her ears even twitch a little in amusement!

"Pikapi," it agrees. "Pi pi pi, pikachu pi pika chupi pika," it explains, ambling along. It all makes perfect sense, when you think about it that way, you see.

If Ambriel doesn't understand she doesn't let it show, walking along slow enough for her new friend to keep up with her. She even nods her head, ears perked high and twitching, as it speaks with her. "It would not surprise me, though," she adds once Pikachu is finished, glancing down at the little creature beside of her, "I, like my kin, have a bad habit of being single minded on subjects we are interested in."

"Pika?" Do go on! Maybe she is interested in food or drawing! It finds those things fascinating!

"Books- I am a collector of stories and histories," she explains, giving a little sigh that is strong enough to send leaves on their branches infront of them whiping about. "Trees tell stories just as well as humans you see- most are free to talk about anything that goes on and these trees? have never seen an Ogier before. I am quite interested to see what they may have to say."

Then, looking down at Pikachu, she beams another face splitting grin. "Maybe you will tell me your story as well?"

"Pikaaaaa..." Books are interesting! They have stories and pictures! At once!

"Pi! Pikachu pikapika?" You are interested in the story of a pikachu? Cooool! It's never gotten to tell its story before!

When she learns the language of the little creature she will! Even if she has to write it all down the way it speaks she will do it. Nodding her head she agreed with it. "Yes, little one."

"So tell me, are there more of you about these parts? I had not been aware of any new beings settled in around Cairhien."

It thinks this over. "Chu. Pi pi pi, pikachu kachu, chupi kapika pikachu pika." So, in short, no. Though there are sort of similar people kind of!

"Will you show me?" she asks smiling, bending down and offering Pika a chance to be carried and pointed out where to walk to. See, Ogier can go long distances without getting tired and even outrun a horse if they wanted to! So she was going to offer her friend a chance not to get worn out on the trip.

Oh, wait, you're offering a RIDE!

Shoulder-perching time!

"Pikachu!" it announces, pointing in the direction of the lake.

From up on her shoulder Pika has a very good chance to see just about anywhere with her standing 8.5' tall and the pace she sets is quite nice providing a good breeze. If he wanted to go to the lake then the lake they would go to!

As they make their way she starts to hum a lively little tune she heard somewhere in Andor fitting more of a country folk song than anything.
