Heehee. Dirigible is cute. Does she have a sister? ^_^

Ships of either stripe are generally called 'she'. I suspect though that the submarine is probably a hermaphrodite. It is, likely as not, full of seamen. ;)

Why? It's not like called the dirigible an airhead. ^_-

I will stop being a dork now though. Ugh. I stayed up until 4AM working on some art that... Is an interesting experiment but seems to be very time consuming and not producing a style I like.

snarl bite growl claw spank.

You've got to do that now and then, I think. Sometimes they come together, sometimes they don't. I mean, this is not quite in my "normal" style...

Yeah, I'd noticed that.

How is Illustrator performing for you on the new machine BTW? I know it could be rather sluggish on your old machine when you started doing a lot of transparent layers. I've been working witha lot of transparent layers and gradient meshes in this current piece and so far it's been running pretty quick (although I'm scarcely 1/3rd done with the project) but my machine is a bit beefier than your new laptop, I think.

I think the fact that this and my last piece were transparency-heavy contains the answer! I suspect that my real torture test pieces would still slow it down, but a 1.25gHz machine does a lot better than my dual 450.
