Two projects that are waiting on technology.
1. I think the
Raspberry Pi + a wifi dongle is just about perfect for my plans of making some color-changing mood lighting in my living room. I should be able to make this happen in a couple months; they're auctioning off a hundred beta boards "before the end of the year".
2. Further off: cpu + people-sensing + moderately large e-paper display = The Painting That Changes When Nobody's In The Room. (Or even cpu + gaze-tracking + e-paper = The Painting That Changes When Nobody's Looking, although I feel like that might be too frequent. Dunno.)
Aaalso I just shifted my estradiol to patches. Two weekly for a total of .2mg per day. Dave was all "gee that seems like a lot" but it's what his references said - fellow transwomen who're using patches, how much are you doing?
