So, another first day of school. How exciting! not really. lol. First let me brief you about the previous day, Sunday 8/28. I worked open to close; this is nothing from the ordinary; if one works a Sunday at Lindt Chocolates; b/c we're only there 10-7:30, true it seems like a long work day; and feels like it most the time; but it gets me the hours i need; to stay Asst. manager. I'm home by approx. 7:30pm, and am looking forward to a relaxing evening at home; preparing myself for my first day of classes. Might i mention now that while at work i tried to have a hold lifted that was on my student account so i could register for that oh so delayed class i've been procrastinating about choosing (dance appriciation was the final verdit might you ask) but alas; the hold could not be lifted due the the school system being down. *insert appropriate fowl language* and would not be up until 9am monday. i'm like fine; i'll go to the class and let the proffessor know my situation and i'm sure she'll be fine with it, considering the class is only half full....

Continuing on with my sunday night; i venture to spend the night with Stephanie as i usually do when we're both home with nothing better to do. We watch tv (vma's), she plays ps2, and i surf the net (which btw there is some quite interesting material about flatulus on google). And before i know it it's going on 2am....which has been the time i've normally been going to bed; but since i had to be up at 7am to leave by 8 i thought "gee i should go to bed now" lol. so my alarm's set and i snuggle into my sheets and am soon into dreamland......uh oh.....i wake up on my own; the morning light shining through  the window onto my precious face. Then i stop to think "oh crap what time is it!?"  i quickly grab my phone and read "9:57am" on the display; i have overslept by 3 hours. not good. i quickly jump up, scurry to the shower, grab appropriate clothes that can be worn to work and still look fashionable for school; and 15 mins later am out the door on my way. Driving approx. 80 mph through what's left of the late goers to work.

Now my first class was at 9:30 mind you, and ends at 10:45. The commute to my school from my house is 45 mins without traffic; so you do the math. So at this point i'm trying my hardest to make it at least 5 mins early to my 11am class (history of art). I make it!! barely. i'm right on time when i walk through room 36 of gailhac hall, the syllabus has been passed out already so i grab one and i take my seat......

class is boring; b/c i hate lectures; lol

so begins my junior year at Marymount Univ.

i take Kira to ballston for her 12:30 class and i'm on my way home; where i am now; currently talking to karla on the phone ;-)
