Music: The Eagles - Hotel California, The Cure - Friday, I'm In Love

Things have slowed down greatly in terms of things to actually do, but i still feel rushed/anxious to get work done. It's weird. The most i have going on is that this weekend (the tenth) is my one year with Kaitlin. Surprises in store. Tuesday, band concert.

lol band.

I'm sick of it, honestly. We play a song called "On A Winter's Night." I hate it. Trombone's don't do shit. When we do, it's boring as hell. "Ocean Ridge Rhapsody" is only slightly better because the part is so bland, that i make shit up. Miles doesn't seem to notice a difference, because i've mentioned this to him and he hasn't said a bad word about it. The only song i like playing is "Fantasy For English Hunting Song." Stupid name, but it's really fun. I have a counter melody that Miles might let me play, even though i'm second chair.

Enough about band. I'm a big enough fag about it as is. Recap of other classes is as follows. World History 1 is a joke. Don't do anything besides watch movies. We'll have about two or three days with no movie, just free time, essentially, then have a day or two of movies. Watched Kingdom Of Heaven, which was cool even though i've seen it before. Good movie. German is german. I pass with flying colors, even if i am a little arrogant about it. I know my shit.

Programming is becoming fun again. I get my shit done at home, get it checked, then play Quake 3 Arena. Yesterday, i had 9 kills in a row. Roflpwnt. Band i've already explained. Government is pretty cool. Mr Forbert is an awesome guy, and all we do is take notes. Some days, he'll get sidetracked on something sort of related, but not completely. Yesterday, we were talking about the Wizard Of Oz and the Dark Side Of The Moon lining up.

Good schedule, IMO. Next semester, instead of government and World 1, i have Mystery Fantasy Sci-Fi, and i want to take World History 3. World 3 covers WWI through the 1990's. I've always found WWII fascinating.

I'm really digging the idea of going with programming as my career choice. As nerdy as it is, i really enjoy programming. It allows me to be creative when designing a form and how i code it. Plus, 2004's average annual pay for a programmer with a bachelor's degree being $70K, makes for quite an influential point. I'm really drawn to Lawrence Tech (LTU) for a college choice, because the only thing i hear about it is that it has great programming/computer courses. The price will be a deciding factor on that one.

I've noticed that i haven't felt depressed like i used to in a while. Couple months, at least. I hope this keeps up. I like being content, whether i feel like i constantly have to be working or not.
