who knew?
So I'm going to share something that I've been thinking about for awhile now. Do you ever sit back and think about how different your life is, than how you planned on it being? It could be the same for some people, but in my case, its not. I can remember back when I was like 16, and I would think about the future. I was so much more optimistic and happy back then. I figured that by around this time, my life would be great. I'd be a senior in college, finishing school and trying to find a career. I'd have a decent job, not be living at home, and have a steady girlfriend who could appreciate me for who I am. I'd be living on cloud 9 and not have a care in the world. And where am I today? Not even close to that. I'm not in school, I have 9 credits from two full years, I got kicked out of two schools, I don't even have a job, I'm up to my fucking ears in debt, not only to my parents, but to financial institutions. I'm still living at home, and I can't even find a girl to take out on a date, let alone a steady girlfriend. And do I look to the future with bright eyes? Fuck no. The future scares the fuck out of me. I don't even have the motivation to get out of bed in the morning, let alone care about my life. And its starting to crumble. The foundations that I built in my youth were obviously crap, because I got nothing to fall back on. My life is crap. If I don't figure someway to get myself out of this hole, you may as well start piling the dirt on top of me, because there won't be a point to waking up soon. I've just been so depressed lately, and I can't seem to pull myself out of it. Fuck.
And another thing. I was watching "Forrest Gump" the other day, and it was at the scene where they pull him up on stage to say something about the Vietnam War, because he just got back from fighting in it. And there were literally thousands and thousands of people, just there in protest of it. I mean granted, its a scene from a movie, but it got me thinking. That never happens any more. Ever. No one gathers peacefully to oppose something they dont believe in. No one bonds together and marches somewhere for a common cause. We are a generation raised to be apathetic. Because why bother going anywhere to protest shit, when we can just sit at our computer and bitch. I cant complain, because thats what I'm doing now. I just think its hilarious. Television and the internet were created for one purpose: easier access to information. But now all it is, is an easy way to spread propaganda and for people to complain. Why walk anywhere and protest anything, when we can sit on our fat fucking asses and type? Why march into our nation's capital with signs, in protest of something, when we can bitch and moan about it in the chatroom, with some catchy handle like "Freedom Rebel" or "I'm a fat fucking lazy american". God damn it pisses me off. So heres a list of things I think we need to do to help our situation:
1. burn all fast food restaraunts to the ground
2. put bombs in all computers and televisions, and unless you are using your computer for business purposes, it will have a timer on it. if you go over your allotted time, have fun pulling that glass shrapnel out of your kids fat face
3. make reading books mandatory. i dont even think half the country can read.
4. once a year, people have to be tested, with the standardized "S.T.U.P.I.D." test. if you fail, you are drug out into the street, and immediately shot point blank in the head. and if your just one of those whiney bitches, "who just dont test well", well, sorry. your dead. because obviously your to dumb to pass the test
5. Get rid of the electoral college, so whoever wins the popular vote, becomes president. because apparently they never told us, but democracy really means dictatorship (its french)
6. keep our god damned nose out of places where it doesnt belong.
7. find zach de la rocha, and force him back into Rage Against the Machine. never have we needed their music more than now. we need a band who isnt afraid to tell the man to go fist himself, and the president to fuck off. and shoot Chris Cornell in the face for starting audioslave. its a travesty.
8. merge the democrat and republican party...republicrat?...democlican? because neither party has any idea what its talking about. republicans are all crazy fucking nazis that want to kill the homos, invade everywhere, make rich people richer, and poor people poorer, and the democrats are all illogical retards who sit around and watch the country go to shit, while they whack each other off and wait for the next election. so take the best parts of each party and cram them together. let the homos do what they want, keep our grubby little american paws to ourselves, give help to those that need it, but make sure they dont abuse it, and make sure people cant be using it that dont need it.
thats all i got for now. its just one big rant. im sure some of it doesnt make any sense, but its almost 5 in the morning, and i just started typing and a bunch of shit just came out. deal with it.
