Kis-My-Ft2 - Duet August 2012 KisuTsuu
I need to start deciding once again which magazines to buy and which not to buy. I mean, with Kamen Teacher coming up, there will be lots of TV magazines with Tai-chan in them, but it would not make sense to buy them all because sometimes, it's not worth it. I don't expect Taisuke to be in as many magazines as last year because Kamen Teacher is a late night drama, but either way, I should play it safe and just get magazines he appears in a proper spread and/or if the drama report is good (in terms of both size and photos).
It does not help that there will 155+ new KisuMai photos at the Johnny's Shop starting tomorrow! I won't be able to buy all the members' (have stopped since the last tour's photos), but it's still going to be quite a bit of money... Fandom. The reason I work. =|
Today's contribution...barely has any Taisuke in it, haha. Oops? I'm just going in order though, so uh...it can't be helped. >>;;

Nikaido and Yokoo has a crosstalk, Miyata makes a comment about Tamamori's challenge on Ougon Densetsu, Senga talks about something he has in his bag. We did a sudden infiltration to the scene of variety shows where Kis-My-Ft2 are taking an active part in! Tamamori’s gallant figure of finishing the one month of economised lifestyle and Yokoo’s and Nikaido’s crosstalk right before their stage play, we’re presenting you with special projects☆
“HamaKisu” (TV Asahi)
Challenging an animal kiss showdown
● “HamaKisu” where Kis-My-Ft2 aims for the top of variety shows. This time, they went to the zoo with Yoiko’s Hamaguchi-san. To the seven members who rejoiced and went “Wa~i!”, Hamaguchi-san yelled at them, “Bakayaro!” The seven will take photos of them kissing animals...they are challenging an “animal kiss showdown” (already aired).
● KisuMai who split into the red team (Kitayama, Tamamori, Nikaido) and the blue team (Fujigaya, Senga, Miyata, Yokoo). First, Kitayama and Fujigaya have horses as their partners to kiss! Kitayama shouted, “It feels like it’ll take my mouth off me (sweats).” Fujigaya went, “Please! Let me kiss you (laughs),” begging the horse, and already it looked like it’d be a heated battle already. Whether they can take the best photo of the kiss is the key to winning, so members in charge of the camera are all fired up.
● The other members kissed iguanas, puppies...this time, they challenged kissing animals and gave their all-out efforts. From the words of Nikaido, who kissed an iguana, “At first it was scary, but at the end, I thought it was a bit cute (laughs)”, you can feel that the seven members have grown in response. We look forward to KisuMai who gives all they have in “HamaKisu” more and more.
“Ikinari! Ougon Densetsu” (TV Asahi)
“10000 yen in 1 month life” has finally reached its goal!
● The 26th day of “show business people’s economizing battle, 10000 yen in 1 month life” where people spend one month with only 10000 yen as their living expenses and compete how much is balance is left. Tamamori, who has spent his days without ever eating out and centered his eating habits around onions, was making a bentou this day too. He said, “I spent three hours frying 20 onions”, and with an onion ring in hand, he expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “(Until the end), I will be on offence, without going on defence!”
● The day where the final results were announced (already aired). He gathered with his opponents, Savanna’s Takahashi-san and Gyaru Sone-san, in the studio. Tamamori reported that with this lifestyle, he lost 7kg in weight, his fat percentage was about 7%, and the age of his body became 7 years old, proving the amazingness of onions’ power (?). At last, they’re calculating the remaining balance. As per Yoiko’s Hamaguchi-san’s advice, because he changed all his money to 1 yen coins, he had lots of trouble counting. Getting help from his two opponents, the amount counted was 1324 yen! Having won Takahashi-san in second place by 4 yen, Tamamori’s win has ben decided!! With a triumphant pose and tasting joy, Tamamori had the champion’s belt around his waist and showed us a bright smile. Tamamori, congratulations!

Last Day
He appeared in his usual overalls and a harpoon in one hand to the venue where the results will be announced. That expression is one filled with confidence!?
He gifted Savanna’s Takahashi-san and Gyaru Sone-san with his homemade noodles made by his hands. To Takashashi-san who said, “It doesn’t have any taste (laughs)”, he defended himself with “It tasted good when it was fresh!”
The champion’s belt that was presented to Tamamori who won.
Miyata
In “HamaKisu”, I did “Miyata’s secret 10000 yen 1 month life”! Matching up with Tamamori’s last week in his challenge for “Ougon Densetsu”, I participated in secret. With the same amount of money Tamamori had left at that point, I started my economizing lifestyle. I did things like making a meal by mixing bean curd lees with radish, and I also made salt from seawater...(laughs). When I left my room which is two rooms beside Tamamori’s, I left at a different time secretly. Even though it was only for a week, it was hard~ I felt really accomplished though, and even Hamaguchi-san said, “Because of that accomplished feeling, I also thought, “Maybe I can do this again?”...and 10 years have passed (laughs)”. When Tama found out about my participation, he went, “You did that?” and his reaction was small (laughs). Tama is amazing though. Next time, I want try doing it for a month!

Takashi Nikaido & Yokoo Wataru's Mischievous Crosstalk
This month is a special project! We’re presenting to you the two-shot of Yokoo and Nikaido who will appear together in the stage play “Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu ~Gekitsuiou~” (August 3rd~ / Tenouzu Ginga Theatre)!
Nikaido (the rest as 2): If it’s the two of us, then it’s “stage play” of course. The role you will play in “Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu ~Gekitsuiou~” suits you, Watta.
Yokoo (the rest as Y): The role of “Siegfried Kircheis”.
2: He has red hair!
Y: Yea, I think I’ll be using a wig though.
2: He’s calm, very composed, and a capable man. He’s cool.
Y: My role is being complimented (laughs).
2: You looked very good in the costume too.
Y: It’s military clothes for me, but Nika is different. You’d think we would be in the same army, but we’re not.
2: I’m in the “Free Plants Alliance” and Watta is in the “Galactic Empire”.
Y: That’s why there are barely any scenes where we appear together.
2: I wonder if there really are none?
Y: Just curtain call?
2: I don’t feel lonely though.
Y: There’s meaning to appearing together in the same work after all. So, the costume of Coldwell, played by you, Nika, is that tokkoufuku? [Note: Tokkoufuku is a type of long jacket that members of biker gangs wear.]
2: It’s the pilots’ combat uniform!!
Y: Ahahaha. Sorry, sorry. You look really good in it though. When I saw you changed into the costume, Nika, I thought, “Nika, you look cool”.
2: ...in August, I’ll be a handsome man!
Y: Lots of people who don’t know about us will come and watch too. The fans of the original work and stage play series... I want to do my best to be recognized by them and for them to think, “I want to see their stage shows again.”
2: There would seem to be action scenes for the battles too. Have to be careful with injuries.
Y: How should I put it, war vocabulary? But there are many words we don’t use normally. Like “OO enemy’s battleships”.
2: It’s the same case with the names of roles, but there are a lot of katakana, so that’s hard too.
Y: Since rehearsals will come after this, let’s prepare what we can in advance.
2: I’m reading the script while being conscious of my character’s atmosphere. He’s silly, but composed...
Y: Let’s do our best until the end.
2: Un. ...unlike when I do this with Senga, we didn’t make any detours for this time’s crosstalk. It also ended perfectly! (laughs)
They don’t have any scenes where they appear together (?), but let’s have expectations for the two who said, “In the moment where the scene changes or something, we might brush past each other? (laughs)”!

Something I have in my bag? This “Small Knowledge to Enjoy Zoos” book. I bought this because it seemed like it’d be fun to read this and then go to the zoo. Recently, we went to the zoo as part of a shoot for “HamaKisu”, and there was this rare chicken, so I was touched! I forgot to check its name... Birds have a feeling of being genuine, among animals, so I like them. I want to expand my knowledge about animals from here on too. It’s definitely not for the corner in the radio show. I just happened to buy this books! (laughs)
