I don't mind if weekdays pass by a little faster, but weekends most certainly end too soon. Or well, I guess many people feel the same way, especially for those who go to school/work on weekdays and have weekends off. If only we all could just play with no work, right? It's unfortunate the world doesn't work that way. I shouldn't complain too much though. After the next two days, work will be a bit more relaxing for about two weeks, so I'm already lucky! There's PV preview to look forward to tomorrow~
Anyway, have a serial translation! This was translated...I'm not sure how long ago. 8D; Possibly two to three months ago... Like I said, I like having stock? XD;
Translation. Myojo's KisuMai serial page Kiss the Seven World. Each member have their own corner where they do various things from introducing and recommending things to drawing to replying mails to completing missions? Also include celebrating Nikaido's birthday.
Kiss the Seven World
Kis-My-Ft2
This month, after a long time, the full line up of the seven members’ serial corners are here! Ahh, how happy♪ In addition, there’s the birthday project for members which has become customary! Even if we’re fully into autumn, the contents will not bore you~
Miyata Toshiya no Chikyuu Seifuku Keikaku!
(Miyata's Toshiya Plan to Conquest the Earth!)
The corner where Miyata challenges various missions received from readers. Even if he can’t conquest the Earth, with this gallant figure of his, his number of fans will definitely increase!
Mission 6 How many balloons can you pop in one minute? (MxM, Tokyo)
Miyata who came into the room where 35 colourful balloons were placed around a chair. While showing a surprised look by such a strange sight, he listened to what the mission was and comprehended the situation and got to start immediately. To start with, he put the first balloon on the chair and he sat on it, putting his weight on it, but it wouldn’t quite pop. Then, Miyata raised his voice with “Hoh!” and jumped slightly, and with that vigour, bang! and the balloon popped. With this plan succeeding, he popped balloons one after the other. When about 20 seconds have passed, around Miyata who was getting breathless the balloons were disappearing, so he asked the staff who were watching over him for support with a “Put the balloons around me!” His momentum did not stop, and there were five balloons left when ten seconds remained. Then, he succeeded in popping all the balloons at 59 seconds!! “You thought it was impossible, didn’t you?” With that, he left the room with a super smug face, but what waited him was “Miyata, you were noisy!”, complaints from other members...
Yokoo-gahaku no Rakugakiten
(Master Painter Yokoo's Fun Scribble Exhibit)
This month, as the Master Painter himself said “I have something I want to draw!”, he drew a scenery that has to do with his own memories. Admire it carefully.
Title of Work "Baseball"
During the summer, high school baseball is on my mind. Since I was all about baseball when I was young, I also yearned after Koushien. [Note: Koushien is the name of the baseball stadium where the annual National High School Baseball Championship is held in Japan. It is the largest amateur sports event.] The position I played was catcher. At first, there was no set position for me, but the senpai who played catcher was absent, and I played in place of him and that was the start. It’s not a position that stands out, but it’s quite fun. That’s because the catcher has to take all the balls the pitcher throws, so it’s busier than any other positions, and when you stop a base from being stolen, it feels good. Ahhh, I wanted to go to Koushien. With that said, I tried drawing “the baseball ground” this month! First, I drew the rough shape of the ground with a pencil lightly, then I coloured with crayons afterwards. If you notice the gradation of colours in the ground, I’d be glad (laughs).
Happy Birthday to Nikaido
The corner that has completely become a custom where we celebrate a member’s birthday. This month, because Nikaido’s birthday (August 6th) was close to the interview day, we celebrated it with Yokoo together. Read the messages from members too.
“You’re 22 years old already. Within me, I have an image of you being forever 17. When I realized it, you had become an adult. From now on to, please grow up healthy and be a carefree adult!” by Kitayama
“Happy Birthday. You’re 22 years old now. Matching numbers. It’s “niinii” and to Nika, those are good numbers. Congratulations!” by Yokoo. [Note: Ni is how you say two in Japanese, and Yokoo stretched the sounds a bit hence nii. So he basically said two-two instead of twenty-two.]
“Congratulations! Nikaido, congratulations!! Takashi, congratulations!!! Ah, which reminds me, a while ago, I received a mail from Nika’s mom. It said, “I watched your drama and ‘Hanamaru Market’” Thank you~♪” by Fujigaya
“Happy Birthday! ‘22’ years old huh. Since you’re ‘Ni’ka, it should become a good year! Do your best with energy!” by Miyata [Note: Like Wataru, Miyata is referring to ni, meaning two in Japanese.]
“Energetic, michievous, Nika who would soften the atmosphere around him. Please stay that way no matter when. Also, this one year filled with 2s where you turn 22 and being our second of year of debut, let’s do our best together! Congratulations!!” by Tamamori
“You’re 22 years old this year. For ‘2’ to match up together, there’s no more auspicious year than this. This year is ‘Nikaido Year’! As it’s such a rare chance, let’s turn this into laughter! I’m going to push Nikaido a lot this year too. I’m going to promote you to each of my friends I meet in private, saying, “Please take care of Nikaido!”, so leave the business activities to me!” by Senga
Senga-ryuu MJ (Mecha Jouzu) Cooking
(Senga-style Very Skillful Cooking)
“When I come across a delicious dish, I try to talk to the chef, so that I can make it myself afterwards too.” What the hardworking chef will introduce to us this month is a pasta dish rich with the smell of basil, arranged based on a menu by a professional.
This Month's Menu
Broccoli and Prosciutto Genovese
【Ingredients】
Broccoli - ⅓ of one
Prosciutto in bite size - 4-5 slices
Basil sauce (paste) - for one person
Fettuccini - 100g
Extra Virgin Olive Oil - appropriate amount
Salt - appropriate amount
Pepper - appropriate amount
※ all the ingredients can be to preference
【How to Make It】
❶ In a pot filled with a large amount of boiling water, put in salt (around 10g) and fettuccini, in that order, and boil for 6-7 minutes.
❷ After you have put in a pinch of salt into the pot with boiling water, put in the broccoli cut into bite size piece, and boil for two minutes.
❸ In a heated fry pan, spread some extra virgin olive oil, and add the boiled ① and ② to it. Mix well with the basil sauce.
❹ Mix the prosciutto with ③ and adjust the flavour with salt and pepper. After dishing it up, it’s done!!
A Single Word of Advice
"The point is not to over boil the fettucini. Since it’s a thick pasta, when you mess up, they would get softer and flabbier than you think. That’s why when you think, “Maybe it’s a bit hard?”, take it out of the water. The time it takes from starting to cook to eating is about 20 minutes. It’s simple, right~ By the way, if you boil the broccoli and pasta in the same pot, it’s only a bit, but you’ll have less things to wash ♡”
Ouji Tama no Oshare World
(Prince Tama's Fashionable World)
The prince who is super busy with the stage show “DREAM BOYS”. While hugging his head and saying, “I haven’t been fashionable at all lately...”, what he’s introducing is this. It’s a hit item that’s the talk of the town~!
Yuuta's favourite item 6
Carbonated Water Maker
With rehearsals for “DREAM BOYS”, I haven’t had the time to go shopping at all. That’s why I haven’t gotten any fashionable items lately, so I’ll introduce this carbonated water maker I got from an acquaintance a while ago. This is an item that creates carbonated water by injecting carbon gas into liquids. Water and juice, as long as they’re liquids, you can make most things “carbonated”. Since I’m toning up my body during the stage show, I’ve only been making carbonated water, but once the shows are over, I want to make various interesting sodas. Recently, there are coffee sodas in convenience stores, so first that. There seems to a red tea carbonated drink called tea soda overseas, so that too. Also, I’m Japanaese, so I’ll make green tea soda! Miso soup soda might be good too (laughs). If I manage to make something interesting, I’ll show you again!
DJ KitaMitsu no RecoMu
(DJ KitaMitsu's Recommend Music)
Every time, DJ KitaMitsu chooses song that matches the requests and themes from his own music player. This month, what kind of songs did he choose?
This Month's Request/Theme
"Songs that make you like melancholic rainy days"
(R&J, Tokyo)
Hearing “rain”, what immediately comes to mind is
ASKA-san’s “Hajimari wa Itsumo Ame”. As it was a song released in ‘91, I didn’t listen to it in real time then, but someone I know often sings it at karaoke, and I ended up remembering it. The melody line of the chorus is impressive, and it won’t leave your mind. For the second song, rain doesn’t appear in the lyrics, but it seem like it’d match the sight of raining, so I choose
Suga Shikao-san’s “Ai ni Tsuite”. While watching it rain outside through a window, if you listen to this song in your room, wouldn’t it feel like you’d be immerse in feelings? Lastly, is of course
Kisumai’s “Ame”! It’s an original song of ours before debut, and we often sing it during concerts. It’s a bit embarrassing to introduce our own song, but it’s really a good song. Perhaps I can say you’d get gentle feelings from it. When it rains, try listening to it♪
Taipi no Sasayaki Kiss
(Taipi's Whispering Kiss)
When he was doing the photoshoot for P.21, Fujigaya was frolicking around with the children in earnest. We’re going to tell you things he said casually then! In addition, have what he said related to requests and themes too.
Theme: “Smell of shampoo you like for girls” (Tai-nyan, Nagasaki)
I have a strong fetish for smell! Compared to perfume, shampoo is better. The smell of perfume would remain for a while, but shampoo is softer, and how it’s just for an instant is good. I especially like sweet types of smell!
In the past, I wonder if I couldn’t say my own name properly and said things like “Taishuke” too.
Speaking of which, quite some time before my birthday, Tama said, “I bought this really nice present, so look forward to it.” Up until today though, there’s still nothing... Every time we meet, he’d say, “Ahh, I forgot!”, but I give up (laughs).
Five kids will come (for the photoshoot)? Meaning including me, it’s six (laughs)!
In this one month, after going surfing with Tama two times, I got suntanned. Staff members said, “You’re too tanned!” and got angry at me. But, I got 90% of my tan I got during filming outside, and 10% of my tan is during surfing (←desperate).
Nika-chan no Mail II Mail
(Nika-chan's Mail to Mail)
This month, we picked two “I definitely want Nika-chan to do this!” photo requests! In the questions corner, he told us about new “Nika coined words” too!
To: Nikaido-kun
Subject: Funny face please!
Make a funny face that barely won’t be NG!
(Tamakichi★, Hyougo)
To: Tamakichi★
Subject: How’s this!!
I have a few variations of funny faces, but this face I have confidence in!
To: Nika-chan
Subject: Cutely♪
Try doing a “cute girly pose” as Nika, you would think it would be. Be cute with all your might! [Note: The phrase that was used here was burikko, which refers to a girl who acts all cute and girly, sometimes, with the implication of pretense as well.]
(Ichigosuke, Chiba)
To: Ichigosuke
Subject: I don’t know!
What should I do for “burikko”... It’s my own image, but I guess something like this?
To: Nikaido-kun
Subject: Tell me a Nika coined word
Nika-chan who came up with words like “teesuu (a greeting like hello)” and “supada” (short for super dash). If you have any others, please tell me!
(NikaFuji, Tokyo)
To: NikaFuji
Subject: There are still lots more~♪
There are still plenty of Nika coined words. To karaoke → “okeru”, to go bowling → “ringuru” are easy to understand examples. [Note: The ru at the end of the words makes them into verbs, as many verbs in Japanese end with ru] When I invite friends to go out and eat, I say, “Shall we store something in our stomachs?”. I’ll come up with various things after this too.
One more month's worth, then 2012 issues will be done~
Hope people enjoyed this~
