Time is Money
I gave the upcoming anime summer season a quick look over and counted about 12 animes I may be interested in watching. Plus 12 upcoming dramas in the season and 11 regular variety shows to watch...my life! o/ If I think about it properly, I'm not quite sure where all my time comes from either. To think that I want more time to do other things like graphics and translating and scanning and scrapbooking too. >>''
Anyways, like I was saying in my previous post, some updates about RL.
First of all, I'm unable to get rid of my bandwidth just yet. =( The main problem being some technical problems with the current provider I'm with which the new provider need to deal with so I'm actually not sure when I'll be free of the bandwidth. orz;; It truly sucks.
Summer employment wise, I was offered one month of work instead of the initial promised two, but well, accepted it anyways because it's better than no money. There are still chances of working longer, depending on if I'm needed at a different camp location after that one month. I'll be...actually, I'm not completely sure of details yet. I'm heading to the main office of the school Tuesday to sign my employment letter and get more details. I'm supposedly helping with the arts/crafts workshop plus 'teaching' math and English. Being a summer camp in the style of Saturday school/extra-curricular stuff, I know from experience that at least half of the kids won't be taking the stuff seriously so it's more like trying to keep them occupied until the end of the day. I believe they used to do field trips every Friday as well - not sure if they're still doing it this year - but field trips aren't much with that school, seriously.
...I don't sound very positive about the whole thing sorry, but really, my experience working there previously just wasn't that great. =| Hoping this summer would be a little better and that there will be some nice kids there.
For now, I shall just look forward to going karaoke on Monday!
Oh, for those who didn't know about it, Ikemen Desu ne staff have updated the report section and wrote about celebrating Taisuke's birthday on set! You can check it out here. Of course, due to Johnnys' rules, there are no photos of Taisuke, Tama, or Hikaru at all, but still! It's a bit sad that they posted a photo of the cake already cut up and not the complete one though!
Also, not sure if all of you heard yet, but TBS will be doing this loooong recording-breaking music show special on 7/16 for 7 hours and 40 minutes! Nakai is MC-ing and there are plans for over 50 groups of artists to perform. You can see the official website here. Note the list of performers is incomplete and more will be announced and there are no Johnnys on the list as of yet. Of course though, there will be Johnnys for sure. There's no way there wouldn't be any. The question is...will KisuMai be there!? It'd be awesome if they can be in it. Not to mention it's the day after the first episode of Ikemen Desu ne will be aired! It'd be a great chance for them to perform. Hoping we'll get more information soon!
Other than that, I'm still at my family friend's place! Currently ~1:35am. The adults are still playing mahjong, lolll. Wonder what time I'll get home. Not that it really matters since tomorrow is Sunday and we have no epic plans...and well, I'm always awake at this time anyways, haha.
