KAT-TUN (Kamenashi Kazuya's Going! my way) - Potato April 2011

Mar 18, 2011 01:01

Forgot to mention in previous entry, but like, TakiCHANnel ;~; Way too awesome I tell you.

Ah, Kabuki rehearsals have resumed...today I believe, according to Muraji-papa.

Over the next days, you will probably get a few extra entries from me as I'll be posting the translations requests I've received through help_japan. Just a warning. Not that I'm done all of them and I still have to prepare for my presentation that will be on Tuesday. Also KAT-TUN scans...it seems like I'm doing KAT-TUN scans bimonthly at this rate...

This translation has been requested by ina.

Translation. Kame's Going! serial in Potato, this time, talking about his Homerun project that happened in Okinawa, at Yakult's training camp. Also things like the contradicting feelings he gets when he sees blisters on his hands and a recent dream he had.

Kamenashi Kazuya's Going! my way Vol.3 in Okinawa

During the off season, Kamenashi visisted the camps of various baseball teams! At Yakult's camp that was held in Okinawa, the "Homerun Project" took place. We properly caught Kamenashi's interaction with player Aoki Norichika who has appeared in this project before!

The homerun he has dreamt of, one day will fly through the sky as well!

(on photo with Kame and Aoki looking at video camera - 'Form check!')

(on photo with Kame's eyes closed and bat up - 'Mental concentration.')

(on photo with Kame look out - 'Reach!')

We're giving total coverage to the "Homerun Project" which is for Kamenashi to hit a homerun. First, when Kamenashi had his batting form checked in the indoors practice ground, player Aoki went "That's right, that's right!" and "Good!" and was really good at complimenting him ♪ Although Kamenashi gained renewed confidence, when he went on to the baseball field, he felt that the distance from the stands was far... When hitting a homerun, player Aoki says that he feels "It went in!" the moment he hit, and Kamenashi said, "I want to feel that! I'm still going like 'How is it? How is it?'" The day he hits a homerun is close!?

Hmm

Homerun...is difficult~

This time, I had player Aoki from Yakult teach me

Even though we're about the same height, his thighs are about twice as big as mine

It's amazing!!

It's the lower body after all~

But getting them bigger~

It's not quick enough

I want to practise mooore, want to devote myself to it

I'll reach it if I keep doing it

I'll definitely hit one

(photo with player Aoki - 'A job well done two-shot with player Aoki who answered thoroughly Kamenashi's questions!')

Up until now, I've been taught by various players and right after they teach me, I can do it. When I hit over 10 times continuously though, I mess up. It'd be nice if I was able to practise reguarly, but I can't really. Today too, honestly I didn't want it to end yet. I want to keep hitting until it goes into the stands, but I'd feel sorry for the batting-pratice pitcher person (laughs). Plus, to do my best in a limited situation and achieve my goal is what this "Homerun Project" is about.

Starting with player Aoki, all the first-class players are very nice people. They practise from day to night and since their families would come as well, even though they probably want to go back early and eat, they were that kind and taught me with smiles. I'm really grateful towards them. That's why, there are lots of things to learn even outside of baseball.

At any rate, it's irritating! I want to get my thighs bigger and when I get blisters on my hands I think "Oh~", but on the other hand, I end up thinking, "This, it can be seen when I'm holding a mic...". Since I want to practise more, I want batting facilities! To be used exclusively by Kamenashi (laughs).

Recently, I had a dream. At Tokyo Dome, I was hitting homeruns one after another. Furthermore, during practice. Even though I'm saying to the producer, "Film it (on camera)!", he is saying something like "It'd be boring if you just get it in like that, right?" (laughs). Despite that's how much I have the image of it perfectly. Before I step on to the batter's box too, I imagine "I who have hit a homerun" and then step up. Even "I who is eating a meal happily" (laughs). I quite like things like that. It's the same before concerts. I would imagine up until the scene of eating a meal after the show has ended, and when that moment comes, I would feel really happy (laughs).

Quick Report!
Appearance in Nihon TV's professional baseball games' relay (March 25th~) has been decided!
"I still can't imagine what it'll be like, but I feel that dreams do come true. Even after I became part of KAT-TUN and go watch baseball, I've said to friends and family "It'd be nice to be able to watch those relay seats over there". To be able to go to the baseball stadium for work, I'm really lucky!"
* As the baseball special supporter, he will appear in the terrestrial broadcasting, and convey in an enjoyable way the greatness of professional baseball in the point of view of the audience!

I'm still not familiar with baseball despite how much Going! I've watched, and well, watching Going! doesn't mean I know the correct terms in English, so got some help from Google and if things are still off, just tell me.

Comments are love and appreciated~
