Don't Need Another Addiction
With Kakumei ending its annual run recently, Tono's next butai Takizawa Kabuki has been announced. Kabuki will be performed at Nissei from April 8th to May 8th, with various newspapers reporting about it. It seems like Tono is interested in pushing the character of Taira no Masakado even further and be even more evil and possibly scarier as one of the legends of Masakado is that his head flew after it was cut off. Tono said there's talk about trying to do that. Other than that, Tono is also interested in playing more historical characters to raise interest in people (especially young people) about history and the various characters he listed include Minamoto Yoshitsune (YESSSSSS), Oda Nobunaga, Amakusa Shirou, and Shinsengumi.
We know that Ebi will be busy with Yamapi's tour during that one month run of Kabuki, so will KisuMai be back working with Tono? Or MSM become the main Junior group? With TheyBudou playing even bigger roles? AND WHO WILL PLAY BENKEI!? If Tono really does pick up playing Tono again aalfjas, Benkei would be necessary, right? I miss Taisuke!Benkei! ;~; More like, I can't imagine anyone else playing Benkei. If Taisuke really does play Benkei again, I'm going to cry oh my gosh. It'll make me feel that I'm never meant to see Taisuke!Benkei live ;~;
Well, um, mh, other than that...oh, T&T mini album now has a title of Trip and Treasure and Tsubasa-nii has a new CM for Nisshin's Tsukemen no Tatsujin.

Oh, at the end of the course, for Japanese, we need to do a web/powerpoint presentation on Japan and we can basically focus on any part of the Japanese culture. About 15 minutes talk. I can't think of a topic just yet. Anyone have ideas? I mean, obviously there are the obvious choices like anime/manga, martial arts like aikido, karate (lol, hi, Hyakushikiou! Sources yo XD), kado, calligraphy and all, but mh... I don't want to be all fangirly or otaku and do animanga or Johnnys. He wants us to have one Japanese source too, so that part might be iffy anyways. On the other hand, I so want to just talk lots about Tono's butais because they're so epic and like oh my gosh, Tono, and even Endless Shock because Koichi-ouji ahhhh, but yea...>>'' Might have to actually discuss with my prof, but the point is, if I do theatre shows, I'm not interested in going completely traditional and focus on just Kabuki and like Noh and such completely. I'm interested in the epic modern twists Johnnys put in their shows. =|
So yes, suggestions as to what part of Japanese culture you think I might be interested in talking about, feel free to tell me.

Oh, right. I'm scared that I'm going to get addicted to fashion magazines because sometimes, their furoku/supplement/gift that comes with the magazine are quite nice and like, yea... I want to know what's going to come with the upcoming issue of saita, but can't find previews anywhere, even on the official site. Sad. //searches around// Oh wait, on 7netshopping.jp, it says...kitchen tong, LOL. Seriously? Damn XD I'll give it my mom as a present? Lol. It was also kitchen goods last issue...
