Ooh. That sounds like a pretty awesome scanner. I've been looking to invest in one too. I did some researching a few weeks ago, and the Epson V300 is supposed to be pretty good for personal usage. But um...it sounds like your lab scanner is MUCH more awesome. Like a normal Epson on steroids. :)
If only I could see it in person.
When I think of lots of rust, I think of a junkyard. Maybe there might be one near you?
Or also, though it's a bit off topic and kind of useless info for you, when you mentioned rust, I thought of Forevertron and the St. Louis City Museum.

Unfortunately, we don't have junkyards around here. Not that I know of anyways. My friend couldn't think of a place either.
...I have no idea where that is >>''

Too bad about the lack of junkyard.
And Evertron, or Dr. Evermore's Forevertron, is a scrap metal art park in Wisconsin. It's seriously amazing. The sculptures are so detailed and fun.
The St. Louis City Museum in Missouri is like this gigantic building with a scrap metal playground welded out of its side.
Both are very rusty and very very awesome.
