orange flavored orange condoms in orange ice cubes
i had a blast this weekend and thought it deserved to be on here. i have not had that much fun in ages.
Friday wasn't that eventful. went to class (93% on my spanish test) and then drove back to birmingham. that night just relaxed and sat around and i think we watched a few eps of 24 season 1 at Adam's.
Saturday was when all the fun started. I got up and went to LA to weigh in then afterwards, i went over to Goody's to look at some clothes then stopped at Taco Bell to bring some lunch home for dad. During the afternoon, me & Adam went to my mom's work to show Gary pictures of the wedding and auburn. Talked to the "Huff Crew" for a while then headed back home and watched Carrie with my dad..lol.
After me, Adam, and my mom finished watching Sugar Showdown, we left for Crystal & Nate's house. After a little while we left for a night of fun and hilarity.
We left about 7:30 to go to Chucke Cheese. Spent about 2 hours there eating and playing games...oh it was fun. We got some cool stuff too when we cashed in our tickets. i got a mini pen that clips on to things, 2 fish (dory and marlin wannabes?), 2 red star beaded necklaces (think mardi gras beads) and a plastic ring, some airhead like things, and a gummi watch. Adam got some playdoh and a pirate eye patch along with a lizard and some of the same stuff i got. Then we headed over to the bowling alley where we played 3 games (buy 2 get 1 free). when we first got there, all 4 of us had on our gummi watches and when we were getting our shoes, the guy behind the counter thought nathan was biting? or licking? his arm..when he was actually eating his watch and the guy kinda laughed and gave the thumbs up sign. haha. I won the first game (and my first frame was a strike!) and adam won the other 2. Go us! lol. Crystal also shared her unique (but effective for her) bowling style. One of the women on the lane next to ours also threw the ball behind her at one point instead of forward..and a guy a couple lanes down fell on his butt while trying to act cool after releasing his ball.
After we left the bowling alley, we went back to their house and watched The Ringer. I think we were all getting kinda tired so after it was over we decided it was time for bed since it was 2:30 and they had church in the morning. Crystal had come into the room me & adam were gonna be in and was sitting there talking to us when Nathan got lonely and started calling crystal to bed. she told us to be quite and just as she said, after a few seconds, we heard nathan walking towards the room. We started talking about various things and before we knew it, we were all laying in the bed like sardines. Everytime it got quiet, someone (usually adam or nathan) would start to say something causing the laughter to start up again. Needless to say, we were all wide awake. After a certain conversation topic and something going up Crystal's butt, we spent about an hour talking about various orange things. Including orange soda. well after all the orange and orange soda talk, me & adam wanted some orange soda. so after our 2 hours of bonding in bed, we were too awake and wanted to go find the beach. So at 4:44 we left their house and stopped at a gas station where me & adam got our orange soda, and then headed on our journey.
We were going to blountsville to find the water park and after 30 mins or so of driving we made it to blountsville. so we stopped to ask 3 cops standing outside the police station how to get there and it was "left at the redlight, left on the highway, and left." nice. not even 5 minutes later we're there but since it's 5:45 am of course they're closed but we thought we could at least get closer but they had this huge iron gate that was locked. eh, maybe next time. we got back to their house at 6:30 and we all finally went to sleep for 2 1/2 hours before getting up. Crystal & Nate left for church and me & adam cleaned up the room a bit and got our stuff and left.
That's not the end yet though. hehe.
for the last few months i have really been wanting to go to Denny's. I talked Adam into going there instead of straight home so we took the route we had come from a few hours earlier and headed to Cullman. We weren't sure where it was, so i called Derek and all he knew was it was next to taco bell, no idea where that was. well while on the phone with Derek, i had looked down one of the side streets and saw a wendy's and told adam that if there wasn't anything at the next light to turn around and go that way. I tried calling Sandi (derek's mom) but she didn't answer and i called Annette but she didn't know either. well, as soon as we turned onto the road with wendy's i yelled "there's taco bell!!" and adam was like "there's denny's." he was amazed that i saw the taco bell sign before denny's since taco bell was behind it and the sign was farther down.
let me tell you..that was the best food i have eaten in a long time at a restaurant. oh, it was so good. and yes, there are plans to go to the one in Columbus, GA *evil laugh*
Sunday me & Adam went and saw X3 and i loved it. Sandi and her kids were there to watch it too, and i dunno why, but it struck me as funny when i saw Toni walking up the stairs in the theater loaded down with brown paper bags of popcorn and i turned around and looked at Sandi and i smiled and shook my head and she was like "do you want some popcorn?" haha.
OH! also, me & Adam are planning a trip to Six Flags on the 10th...FUN! i cannot wait. and also maybe july 16th because boom boom huckjam is gonna be at the park on the 16th and 17th..however i have class on the 17th which sucks. eh well.
